Gates appeared to be moving well during the portion of practice open to the media. "It was basically the same as yesterday -- it got a little bit better," Gates said. "I think it's still going to be a game-time decision for us." Coach Marty Schottenheimer said Gates "did OK" during drills. "We'll see. We'll decide Sunday." Gates was hurt in the third quarter of last Sunday's 48-10 win over Buffalo. He leads the Chargers with 56 catches for 784 yards and seven scores in nine games. Meanwhile, left tackle Roman Oben did not practice Friday and was walking gingerly on his injured left foot, making it likely the veteran will miss his third straight game.
