Apparantly his cap number is just over 10$ mill a year?

Why are we letting this gem out of our hands? Please. McCree is a good pickup (28 - 3.5 = 24.5). Minus draft contracts (24.5 - 7.5 = 17). We get Law and we still have 7 to sign a TE and whatever we didnt get in the draft. I know AJ doesnt want to flirt with the cap threshold, but I would hate to see Law on KC.

This guy is proven. Have him anchor this secondary; and our defence will be set. I can not see spending the money any other way...

If the Chargers want to win, they need Ty Law.

I think it might come down to the system, and is he an "AJ" guy. AJ gets guys he thinks will work within the system, and meld well with the team. That is the only reason I can think of why we dont make a play for him. Unless of course AJ is waiting for his price to be reduced some...

I'd love to see Ty Law on the Chargers. I just don't see AJ Smith pulling the trigger on that one though. He likes to go for unheralded cheaper guys. I like what Law would bring if we did get him. Not just on the field, but with some veteran leadership in the secondary.

I cannot believe that anteater believes that ty law is worth only 4 million a year.

We just signed a safety for that much, who will probably never make the probowl. Give me a break. We could probably sign him to the same contract that TO just got. And by the way, TY LAW is not aging, hes the man.

Now. If you guys could have one... Ty Law or Lavar Arrington, who would it be. I think we know where I stand.

AJ will never go spend on the big names. Thats a sad fact when you see quality O linemen sitting out there and AJ appears to be sitting on his thumbs.:icon_evil:

Ty Law would look good in blue and gold, but not at $10 mil a year. We go Mcree, now lets add Ricky Manning Jr. or Deshae Townsend.

Yeah it is funny how people are not willing to pay a pro bowl QB 10 mil a year, but is willing to shell the duckets out for an old DB.

first of all, I love Huff. The problem is that he is a safety (which we dont need) and he will be taken way before our pick comes. Plus do we really need another texas defensive back on this team?

We have the money for a proven CB. Ty Law works out hard, he outworks his competition (just like bettis and neal). Thats how they stay healthy and on top.

The newest rumors are that New England is interested in Ty Law. How much do you expect them to pay Law?

IMO Law will not sign with New England unless no other team wants him...he will not get the big payday he is looking for with the Patriots...

Today is March 23rd, and Ty Law is still a FA.

Not to beat a dead horse but I have sworn to do everything in my power to endorse Ty Law.

There is no way he's going to get the 10$ mill he wants. Lets make a deal, its not although no team is going to sign him. Somebody will and it should be us. The guy is a gym rat. The best (maybe next to Champ Bailey) CB in the league, and will bring an overall "Don't F with us defence." He will be healthy all year, the guy trains like Ichiro.

    Don't believe me...?

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/players/09/14/workout0920/index.html

I think that sums it up, he cannot eat breakfast because he'll puke it up. That's the type of guy I want!

Let's just all acknowledge our other CBs offseason workout... All Sammy Davis does is rub 'can't cover' cream twice a day and all Jammer does is eat a lot of turkey.

CB is a skill position, Ty Law is the top cut.
