Now that the hour is almost upon us to wreak havoc, it appears RideTheLightning is driving SOLO to Las Vegas. Boltzzzz lives in Victorville and is driving solo as well. Something to think about for car pooling ....... Next - dinner plans. I am open to suggestions for anything starting at 8pm......Maybe there at the casino we are staying at? (Gold Coast on W. Flamingo)...........

OK, here's the deal: Trumpy, carpooling sounds like a great idea, I was actually gonna ask anyone if they needed a ride. I can pick Boltzzz up if he'd like. All I ask is split the gas w/ me. His timetable works for me, I don't mind arriving a little later than planned, gives me more sleepy time Sat morning after work. Boltzzz, hit me up if interested and we can work out the details. Only thing, I need to be back in SD before 3pm on Monday so we may have to get outta dodge early Mon morn. ALso, if anyone is looking for a last minutes place to stay, I've got room. It's a timeshare resort where I'm staying this weekend. I have stayed in one of the upper floors/massive suites at Mandalay, but not the penthouse. Spectacular view of the entire city up there.
I swear I must not be livin' right!!! Just tried to book a room at the Gold Coast (online) and they're sold out for both night. :flag: I'll try giving them a call.
Carrie just booked a room at the Gold Coast! Couldn't get the internet rate but was able to get the "call in" rate. FYI. There are about 40 rooms still available for Sat and Sun., which by Vegas standards is very few rooms. Got it for $90 and $36 - $126 for two nights. Anyway, I told them to put me next door to Boltzzz from Bolttalk. :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:
I know the feeling. I had my son take me on an errand and it took him 3 shots to put my truck in the driveway straight. I only had to hit the "imaginary" brakes once. :icon_rofl:

I am looking forward to meeting up with you folks for the game. I don't provide a ton of posts, but I enjoy reading people's opinions and throwing mine up when I think there is something worth saying. But gameday is always more fun around a group of rowding Bolt fans and this Sunday sounds like we will have quite a few. I was looking at the Pub website... do you think they offer that All-U-Can-Eat rib deal on a gameday? It seems to say 24/7, and it is under the 'All You Can Eat' section of the web page... but our group would clean them out! Champagne brunch on Sunday mornings sounds good too...
I know, ive got the same one. Me and a bud got lucky and they but us in the penthouse for one night. pretty nice. my bathroom was like another room. probably doesnt compare to the mandalay suites though.
The kitchen is reportedly scheduled to reopen in December. Not sure of the date... so this Sunday (12/2) is questionable. I've heard about a taco stand really close to Michael's if all else fails.

Come to think of it, I'm not sure I would want to be the 'guinea pig' on a brand new kitchen anyway... :icon_shrug: Maybe we should hope it is still closed. The kitchen isnt brand new....its just going to reopen which was shut down because they couldnt serve food in a place that had smokers( some law). Personally id rather have the food but in a bar, they figured they would lose business if you couldnt smoke in there...and you know how much smokers smoke when drinking BTW.....your first beer is always free at Michaels
I should be in Vegas no later than 4:00 tomorrow. At this point, it appears we are playing dinner by ear and still open to suggestions. I have to pick up my mom at the airport at 7pm but may just tell her to taxi over to the hotel and get ripped.....The good son says pick her up, the bad son says, eff it. :lol:

I hope it is not raining tomorrow. That would suckass driving in the rain but come hell or high water - ****it......... I did a practice test in math and got a 46 out of 50 in preparation for tomorrow's big four hour test (CBEST - 200 questions). I am going to ace this mother fker.:yes::icon_party:
