Are any changes made tomorrow, or do we still wait till the end of the year?

No point in making the change now? Why would we do it. Nobody can call the offense, and there's nobody out there available that is even half decent now. Doing it right at the end of the season is the best option.

That win in Pittsburgh isn't looking particularly meaningful at this point.

We have a very cheap owner. Nothing will happen until the season is over.

There are several people who could have called the offense, however that would have meant someone would have to be PAID to call the offense, and with our cheap owner profits are more important!

Not just talking about the coaching staff. Is it time to can AJ? He isn't doing anything right now anyways. I think it is time to let Raye get to work planning for next year

You dont think he already is? He's already in here, he doesn't have to hold the reigns yet to be planing for next year.

And why can AJ, he's been awesome at finding guys off the street who can contribute. Thats one of the things hes done best here. Alexander, Gaither of recent note.

Who on this coaching staff would you trust to be the playcaller right now? We're plain and simple not going to go get someone off the street for 2 games, nobody would even accept that job for 2 games.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the owner being cheap or not (for the record hes not cheap at all, he's just a little bitch in the decision making catagory, we're constantly up against the cap, he's just scared of a bad decision driving away (to LBC's credit) a casual fan base as we have a very small hardcore fan base), it is a matter of no options better than what we have right now.

He isn;t in a position to do it HIS way. He needs to be given the reigns. AJ isn't finding players off the street, when the season is over and no one he signs today will be on the team next year

Apparently no one can call the offense right now so it wouldn't matter. We scored 7 points today. It's pathetic. Rivers sacked 6 times and fumbled 4 times. He has no chance to do anything with this O-Line. If we do not address it with either FA's, draft picks, or a combo of both, im going to puke.

If I expected Dean to actually go out and fully invest in the coaching search process I'd say go ahead and can Norv tomorrow just to try and get a box office spur for the last game of the season against the Raiders. Thing is, I'm of full belief that Dean already has his short list of candidates he deems acceptable (and by that I mean those who carry enough name recognition with the bandwagoners and casual fans to get them back to and through the gates) right now.

Thing is, how much of a "head start" on the process are you really getting? Chip Kelly is busy prepping his team for the Fiesta Bowl and likely would defer any interviews until after that. Same for David Shaw but sub in Rose Bowl. No playoff or playoff contending team is going to consent to let us interview an assistant until after their own season has ended (or they get a bye week). So the "head start" is basically being the first to hear the outrageous demands (that Dean very likely won't acquiesce to) of Bill Cowher and Jon Gruden. That's it.

Meanwhile, Ikeman can celebrate the fact that we presently own the #7 overall pick in the draft.

cheap because he did not pull the trigger last year to get rid of Norv! Cheap because he does not bring in the high caliber talent for the head coach position, we always get the retreads!

AJ is a POS and the quicker he gets his arse out of here, the better off this team will be! But then again rumor has it Spanos is going to hire his son on his short list for GM.

It wasn't to long ago that y'all were claiming AJ as a Gawd now y'all ready to crucify him. That story sounds familiar.

No one to call the offense?
If it can be called like today's offense, then I'm up for the challenge.

1st down: Run up the middle for 2 yards.
2nd down: Call a slow developing pass play and have Rivers get sacked.
3rd down: Have Rivers drop back to pass and then have him just fumble the ball.

There, I can call an offense as good as anything Norv showed up with today.

No box office spur needed........ the Raiders game is basically sold out already.

I say fire the 2 of em today. Like many have said doesn't matter who calls the plays. Heck put Charlie in at QB andhave Rivers call the plays FFS. These 2 buffoons (AL&Norv) need to be out the door ASAP. Send a msg. The good ol days where there is no accountability should be gone. Bring in a disciplinarian and knock out the dead wood.

The owner has already done a very good job of that over the last few years, it's time for him to do something else than just sit on his *** for a change.
