I have to wonder if people are being serious or they are really that stupid........You see enough examples and it makes you wonder wtf is wrong with these people ?
Here is 86 year old Titans team owner Bud Adams giving the fans a double barrelled middle finger salute. Word has it Alex Spanos has hired a trainer to help him show his love for the fans on the way out.
Been going over some playoff scenarios and tiebreakers.....WOW we ****** up by losing to the Raiders. We have to win out clearly, but the Chiefs either have to lose 3 games, or go 2-2 losing too Oakland in week 17....or its over. Oakland could screw us in week 17. They need to come out and give it 100%, and you just can't trust them to do that.
I have not done the math and wait for others to do it for me so CHarger fans have to root for the Raiders in Week 17 ? Oh god. The end of the world is indeed here. The Mayans were off by one year. Bastards.
Cassel doesn’t travel with the Chiefs Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 11, 2010, 9:23 PM EST Brodie Croyle will get his chance to knock out the Chargers. The Chiefs announced that starting quarterback Matt Cassel has officially been ruled out for the game Sunday, so Croyle will get the start. Cassel remained in Kansas City Saturday after having an appendectomy earlier in the week. His status for next week’s game against the Rams is uncertain. The move was widely expected after Cassel’s surgery; he was originally listed as doubtful on the injury report. Croyle last started in the season opener against the Ravens last year, completing 16-of-24 passes for 177 yards and two scores despite a brief second quarter benching from Todd Haley. It’s a shame the Chiefs won’t have their starter for the biggest game the franchise has had in years, but we suspect it will still be a close game. Croyle is talented, plus it doesn’t take that much talent to hand off to Jamaal Charles.
wow I am shocked. They really caught us off guard. What a clever rouse to wait all week so the Chargers wouldn't know who was starting.
OK - this thread was started WEEK ONE and has lived on in infamy. Today is the day of reckoning. I want some mother F'n Payback. NOtice how CHiefs fans have all but dissappeared - again - Go figure.
Chargers make statement in 31-0 win Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on December 12, 2010, 8:20 PM EST Matt Cassel isn’t this good, is he? The Chargers destroyed the Chiefs 31-0 Sunday in a game that tightened up the AFC West race, just like the NFC West. Just as the Raiders dominated San Diego in the trenches last week, the Chargers won this game by pushing Kansas City around up front. The Chiefs’ top-ranked running game rushed for only 48 yards on 17 carries. Cassel’s backup Brodie Croyle threw for only 40 yards on 17 attempts, completing seven passes. This was a beatdown of the highest order. The Chargers out-gained the Chiefs 426-67. :icon_rofl: :football: wned: San Diego got contributions from rookie running back Ryan Mathews and Vincent Jackson. San Diego now has to turn around and face the 49ers on a short week. The Chiefs close with a game in St. Louis, then home games against the Titans and Raiders. For the Chargers to make the playoffs, they need the Chiefs to slip up at least one more time. They will certainly be rooting for Croyle to start another game next week.
The same old Bolt's, now you see em, now you don't. Will this team ever grow a set and win when the money is on the line?????
San Diego is to soft, just like it's fan's. Bunch of choir boy's the fans don't want to take a late shot at an opposing QB if it means a Lombardi. Don't talk hate and blood if you can't see it through.
The season ain't over however, I don't have high hopes with an owner who all of a sudden has us at the bottom 1/3rd of the league in salary. Tough to win when the owner cares more about his balance sheet more than winning especially this year.
The point is, NO coach that has been here ever done it. The player's have to bring it and make it tradition and pass it on.
The Bolt's have never been known to be a team that leaves you battered and blue win or lose, you know you lost the war even if you won the game.
It all starts with leadership...the GM and Headcoach set thet tone by selecting the players and setting expectations.
