Who choked away the playoffs? Cutler did. The defense never got better so they're not to blame. Shanahan actually did interesting things that lead to wins, then abandoned that approach and started losing again. Cutler was great, very reliable. Then he became human again and threw red zone INT's and began overthrowing open receivers and failed to be an efficient quarterback. Therefore Shanahan and Cutler choked.
