It looked grim after the first inning, and it woulda been easyta quit on the Pads, but Baek jes kept mowin'em down, and the offense came to life a little at the time; first Huber HR in the 3rd, Khalil scoring on Gerut's hit in the 5th, beating a great throw from the outfield by an eyelash, Jody's game-tying blast in the 8th, TC working a bases loaded walk in a great AB in the 10th, then Kouz' grand salami!!

Lost in alla this was, after giving up the two run double to Soo in the first, Baek didn't give up another hit, and only a walk to the next 22 Cleveland hitters, retiring the last 16 batters he faced.

Alla the Whiny Little *****es (WLBs) can quit on the Pads if they wanna, and mebbe they feel justified...as for me, I didn't quit on them when they were really ******, and I refuseta quit on them now.

Plus, the players haven't quit either!!

Watching the news last night he looked to have a lot of pain out of that knee off the tee on a couple of the later holes. Figure its probably bothering him a lot more than he has let on.

    Apocalypse Now

Haven't seen it in years, thought tonight would be a good time to revisit Colonel Kurtz and friends.

    Smell that? You smell that?
Napalm, son. Nothing in the world smells like that.
I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

He likes you because you're still alive.

You either surf or you fight.

    The horror... the horror...
