What continuity?

As for the original post, I thought "continuity" was the reasoning that was given for not firing Marty originally and that when Cam and Wade left they went ahead and fired Marty anyways because there was no longer continuity?

Cam Cameron was hired by Marty when Norv left because he ran the same system as Norv. He kept things mostly the same from a SYSTEM standpoint.

I'll expand, but I know I've already lost you.

SYSTEM does not mean you have the same exact pieces in place. But it does mean the terminology, plays, & overall identity remains very similar.

Now that I've lost you, perhaps I can try to bring you back.

Did the identity of the offense appear to be similar last year? :icon_shrug:

Things were similar last season because it was still Marty's team. Similar situation to Switzer with the Cowboys. A year later, they became Switzer's team and they sucked.

1. So how is it that Norv was familiar with this offense?

2. So how could Norv have possibly been familiar with the changes of the offense over the past five seasons?

Your questions don't mention anything regarding "HEAD COACH".

He only asked the 2 that I just posted. And neither question mentions anything about Norv being the HC. Only about his familiarity with the offense.

No. We never ever discussed it to this extent. The ONLY thing ever mentioned was "AJ hired Norv for continuity reasons and that these continuity reasons were that Norv was once our OC."
