What is the point of quotes in signatures?

I dont get it... Really, can someone explain it to me?

The site is going to be redesigned at the end of the season. In the new design, members will not be able to put quotes in their signatures. However, if this becomes a problem before then, the ability to have quotes in signatures will be removed earlier.

Sounds like a good idea...quotes from the athletes are one thing but quoting posters on the forum usually is just antagonism...that idiot ballzack did that to me at the UT but I bombed him every five days and enlisted help and he finally knocked it off lol...

I have sigs off everywhere bc sometimes they are way too big and distracting...

Just a bit. I'll admit mine is there as a dig at Stan - he said it, I'm just reminding him. Other folks make sure to bookmark threads that they want to be able to call up when the situation calls for it.
