My lightning fist offense would be unstoppable with 5 full backs and two tight ends.

Rivers has another 8 years left to his career. With 2 good TEs, and an average line, our offense would be good enough to win a championship with the young, quality front 7/Weddle we now have

Karen, no disrespect, but isn't what you're saying about RTL off the subject of the actual topic that you started in the first place? Just because his opinion differs from yours, doesn't mean you need to insult him...

in Germany, if you order nachos in a movie theater, they give you Doritos with nacho cheese, it's gross. You can order beer though, so that's cool.

That's horrible about the nachos and awesome about the beer. There's a theater in Del Mar that has adults only showings where they serve alcohol and dinner. Been meaning to check it out for a while now.

Anyone who says you don't need a Quarterback that can run, is wrong. Anytime you can add another dimension to your offense you do it.

The QB of the Ravens, a team doing a good job with the hurry up this year, is an absolute statue. The QB of the best team in Football, the Texans, is an absolute statue.

A QB who can run and execute an elite passing attack is better than a QB who can't run. A QB who can run but can't execute an elite passing attack is not better than a QB who can't run but can execute an elite passing attack.

If running the ball from the QB position was the key to offensive success, Tim Tebow wouldn't be a back up QB.

Well let’s see. I can watch our ex-Quarterback try and beat the Quarterback we used to own, OR I can watch an ex-Manager win another World Series title. I can sit around here and talk about how bad our team is or over on the History Channel they have the reruns of the geriatric synchronized swimming championships of 1955. Sometimes I love black and white TV.

Only posting because I'm Embarrassed about our team

    What we need:
    1) To stop losing! Epic-ally (We should have never lost to Saints, Donkos nor the Brown Baggers)
a)Coaching: Starts at the TOP. As I stated before Madden 94 10, 11 or 13. Can Help. We need a no non sense coach. IE TB Coach. Someone that is disciplinary.
b)OL is suspect at best Let's face it. We did a lot better with the 2 and 3 stringers last year. This group needs: ___________: I cant even say because I want CUSS.
c)DB's We drafted the Kid from LSU. (Safety) Maybe need to move somebodies (Ie Cason, Jammer,Gilchirst) We have to many projects that never get finished.
    d) I GOT 5.55M on it. VJAX looking really "sexy" with Josh Freeman (Rookie QB) We have 6 WR's none of them are worth anything. Why, PR is only getting 2-4 to set up and pass.. See B. We can't even have a HOT WR (Slant)
If I missed something ! Remember We use to RUN AFC WEST. Now we look like the Bad Girl Club.

Well with Denver kicking the Saints butts up and down the field. The Chargers do not control their own destiny. With Denver looking like they will be holding a 2 game lead in the West.

Next thing "Karen" will be suggesting is the team adopt the same fugly uniforms Oregon uses.

I'm not discounting the main points of the OP. truth is there are a lot of NFL coaches past and present who are studying the Oregon Ducks offense. It's only a matter of time before much of it is implemented. Gruden is going to bring it to the NFL. or so he says.

I'm not saying it will be successful. But match ups are always what win or lose games. Yeah that's a "Duh" kind of statement. But it's the main reason the Ducks kill defenses.

    We'll see.
