Wonder where you all scattered to. No offense on this club makes it boring. I told you guys during ST this club needs hitters. David Wells is garbage. Maddux and Peavy are holding this club together, but how long?

    Padres forums maybe? :icon_shrug:

They're welcome here, but maybe they're at forums that are specifically Padres and not Chargers? :icon_shrug:

They are still here. They are still fas. They still enjoy the game. They still back the team.

Just like Chargers fans do. Did you stop backing the Chargers after the 1-15 season?

If no, then why would you expect other to do the same because the ball is different.

Are you comparing the 2007 Padres to a 1-15 football team?

I get the real point you're trying to make, and I agree, but I'm just checking.

There is no comparison between the Chargers and Padres. I am asking him if he stoped being a fan when the Chargers had their worst season ever, if not then why would he expect the Padres fans to abandon the team when the season is early, and they are 18-17.

ST there were padre fans talking it up. Now that the season started, I dont see much convo here. They arent losing so its not like Im saying that the padres suck and everyone abandoned them. I was just bringing convo to get opinions.

I am attending many games, including the one last night and Mondays and Wednesday's. So, that's where I am.

Plus, I am a moderator on a Padres forum now, so im staying busy. I have not missed any games I have tickets to yet this season. I will remain a Padre fan forever.

I dont see it as "abandoned". I am choosing to post in another forum.

After being welcomed warmly as I was in strike3, I was offered the job of Padres moderator on this other forum. I took it.

I am free to post wherever I want, as you are. I dont post anywhere alot, except for HERE, obviously.

I may post again at strike3, unless I am no longer welcome there.
Most times, if I am asked to come back and post, I will.

I didn't mean to come off as an ***, I was just being facetious. You're free to go where you like.

I'm right here. I hope you will excuse me though, I am smack dab in the middle of Little League, of which I am a Coach for my Son's T-Ball Team, then I am also an Umpire for San Diego County Umpires, and we do High School Baseball, and in my spare time I work.

    I post when I can.

    And the Dodgers still suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cust has five HRs in six games since being acquired in a trade with San Diego. Billy Beane does it again.

    Cust can't field anywhere.

He'd still be a Padre if the NL had a DH.

    I'm glad for Cust.

I'm just saying he'd be a defensive liability in San Diego.

If he turns into the next Albert Puljos I'll still be sore for letting him go, but I don't see that happening.

It won't and he'll cool off although I think in his mind this is his last shot to do something in the majors. Hell he is banging harder than Piazza was even tho Mike was pretty consistent but wasn't hitting HRs.
