You just need to respond faster. I posted that on the 20th and you respond how many days after?
I was being snarky as the west continues to prove me right when I point out the whole stereotype of the NL West being "weak" is outdated by 2 seasons now.
He probably didn't realize that the quote was old.
Yeah, he probably didnt care to read the date which doesnt really bother me a bit. Padres are doing well. There offense is stepping up a bit. Big series v.s the dodgers this week.
In fairness to him he probably didn't read the post at its original location. He probably read it in my post where I quoted it....not seeing the date.
It is nice to see the offense scoring more to compliment the best pitching in the majors.
Makes the padres look alot better
a win with two hits.
I'll take it!!!
specially against the Blue
Arent those Dodgers in
NOt so fast, season still long ways from over. Padres barely holding on.
They barely lost one game...
You are correct, though, it's going to be a close race all season long.
Well I hope I do not jinx them, I have not seen the Padres lose yet while I was in attendance at Petco, and I will be there today.
get there more often then
But I cant say that anymore, we watched them lose today.
You jinxed your streak by posting about it.
Ya I did, I promise never to do that again
But we where counting yesterday, we did see 11 wins
So the lead is back down to 0.
It sucks being in the toughest division in the NL, I know
(They really stunk up the joint in Tampa  )
I'm really surprised AZ is hanging in there. but, it is was it is. We still have the best pitching.
wasn't that Mearadeth dude on IR for awhile?
seems like a tough spot to bring a guy back.
No, he hasn't been hurt at all. (You might be thinking of Clay Hensley)
He was our best middle reliever all of last year (after we got him from Boston) and all of April, then he suddenly lost his control and he's probably been our worst throughout May and to start June.
Mere has been horrible. They need to send him down for a bit.
I'm inclined to agree with that.
Call up Andrew Brown or Royce Ring
He needs some help.
right, my bad.
nothing like a 9 run 14 hit game to bust out of a losing streak !!!
and where the hell are those PADRE SMILIES !!!!
pADRES WIN 7-1 today. Guess the offense is showing up the last two games....on to chitown.
Germano: 5-0 2.36 ERA
DAMMIT, I wish I'd made plans to go
Therein lies the problem, one day they are hot, and the next they are frozen.
i sure like the look of
San Diego 40 28 .588 -
LA Dodgers 39 30 .565 1.5
Arizona 40 31 .563 1.5
Colorado 35 34 .507 5.5
San Francisco 30 39 .435 10.5
