I was being snarky as the west continues to prove me right when I point out the whole stereotype of the NL West being "weak" is outdated by 2 seasons now. He probably didn't realize that the quote was old.
Yeah, he probably didnt care to read the date which doesnt really bother me a bit. Padres are doing well. There offense is stepping up a bit. Big series v.s the dodgers this week.
In fairness to him he probably didn't read the post at its original location. He probably read it in my post where I quoted it....not seeing the date. It is nice to see the offense scoring more to compliment the best pitching in the majors.
Well I hope I do not jinx them, I have not seen the Padres lose yet while I was in attendance at Petco, and I will be there today.
It sucks being in the toughest division in the NL, I know (They really stunk up the joint in Tampa  )
I'm really surprised AZ is hanging in there. but, it is was it is. We still have the best pitching. wasn't that Mearadeth dude on IR for awhile? seems like a tough spot to bring a guy back.
Cla Meredith? No, he hasn't been hurt at all. (You might be thinking of Clay Hensley) He was our best middle reliever all of last year (after we got him from Boston) and all of April, then he suddenly lost his control and he's probably been our worst throughout May and to start June.
right, my bad. nothing like a 9 run 14 hit game to bust out of a losing streak !!! and where the hell are those PADRE SMILIES !!!! :icon_shrug:
