I'm more impressed with McCoy every day. It takes balls to hire an OC who has more experience than you and has had more success than you. Rather than seeings such a hire as a threat to his authoritah, McCoy sees it as an opportunity to learn. Awesome hire.

Absolutely love this. I'd have been perfectly happy to have Wiz as our head coach, so am very pleased to have him on board as OC. Wiz + McCoy is so much better than anything I'd imagined the team would've done.

I dunno that I'm on board with a 1 and done OC, but McCoys willingness to give up the play calling is very inspiring as it relates to his ego and leadership skills.

I'm actually fairly excited for FA and the draft.

Although he is likely a one and done OC, I also understand that he will only be one and done if our offense gets back on track, which if that happens, I would thank him for his help and wish him good luck

Whats next on Tom Tornado's agenda after the staff is squared away? Individual player evaluation I assume, which will be another big event. Will be intersting to see what Offenisve players get retained and which ones we end up with via FA and the Draft.

Maybe we can watch the draft and actually recognize the people we draft.

I think this years first round will shake out to be pretty predictable. It can really only go one of 2 ways depending on what KC does to kick it off.

Rock solid hire. I'm impressed with the new brain trust. And so very happy Dean isn't taking advice from Jimmy Johnson anymore. Aren't we also looking for a special teams coordinator to replace Bisaccia?

What fun would that be? What am I going to do during the draft if I'm not looking up obscure links to find any info on the people we draft. Am I supposed to just cheer the pick? I seriously have no idea what to do.

Absolutely LOVE this pick. I like keeping SOME experience in the coaching staff, and Whisenhunt is an awesome pick-up.

Unless Hacksaw alone is telling the truth (stop laughing!), by all accounts Telesco & McCoy want to and will keep Pagano & he's under contract

I think that's the important part. Unless we hear tell of another team hiring him or of us dismissing him, I'd say it's pretty safe to assume he's back for at least this year. Makes sense too. If the defense continues to progress he's going to either be worth an extension (and could be designated Asst. HC to keep teams from laterally trying to hire him away) or he's going to be in consideration for a HC gig himself.

So are you saying quacksaw is or is not saying Pags will be retained?

I am not sure that any coach from the previous coaching regime being under contract means much. It is not often that a new coach will have to take a coordinator they dont want.

Call me old fashioned, but yes, I would take a one-and-done

Things just keep rolling along and Dean deserves some credit for this changeover. He's pitched all ringers up to this point, no leaners yet. I'm just hoping Joiner and Pag's stay in the loop, I think they've earned it in Dego.

If we keep Pags, I think it is safe to say that McCoy wants him

Thanks. I never thought of that when I asked if McCoy was considering keeping Pags...

Just pointing out the obvious. I don't think Dean would just force him to keep Pags
