Well, there's a conference call for season ticket holders tomorrow with McCoy. I'll give you the phone number & pin if you want to call in & ask. ;)

It is feeling like a season we can look forward to. No retread coaches, good solid OC to allow McCoy to focus on the whole game... I am liking it so far! :abq2:

I personally am looking forward to seeing what kind of offensive scheme McCoy and Whiz put together for this offense. Perhaps we see a revival to Eddie Royal's receiving career? It was McCoy's offense that he thrived under, after all!

He is willing to adjust the system to maximize what his players are good at, so it has to be better than what he have seen the last couple years.

Maybe Royal can be revived. I am not overly confident. Give Rivers a OL and I think the O will start moving like it should again.

Keeping Pags is good for the D but if Lovie somehow is interested I say get him. All those years in Chicago and tell me what was the most consistent side of the ball? Still this is a amazing start to the offseason and if we can plug a few holes together we'll pushing for contention in the division.

We don't have the personnel to change to a 4-3. We would need two DE's in addition to the players we already need

According to my neighbor the bronko fan, Payaton Manning was the true offensive coordinator for them this year...

Lovie's already said he'd rather take a year off than take a DC or assistant's position. He's looking to pull a Jeff Fisher.

I would like to see him come back, but I am not sure if we can afford it with our other cap problems. He is a Vet with a number of years accrued and even the vet minimum might be too much. AJ has left us with a severe cap problem and it might take a year or so to get it under control.

Spurlock did a pretty good job in his place....... I'd rather keep the guy who can stay healthy.

Time to see if Ed Mcguire can really be as good at making contracts vs cap work as he's known to be

Shaun had 9.5 sacks this year. He's going to make a helluva lot more than the vet minimum.

And if you read what I wrote, I feel that even the vet minimum might be too much. I did not speculate on whether he would sign for that or not. And, if he really means he will do what it takes, then he would take the vet minimum if it was offered.

No 31 year old pass rusher coming off a year with 9.5 sacks would take the vet minimum. A hometown discount is one thing, but that's just ludicrous.

The only way SP is staying on this roster is with a multi-year deal with basically no salary this season and a healthy signing bonus, to defer as much of the cap hit as possible until after we're out from under the contracts of Gaither and Clary. I still can't believe that Smitty gave him a 20 mil contract. WTF.

Based off what the Colts did last year don't be surprised if Telesco follows in pursuit to clean up the trash that AJ left behind, as well as some contracts that we may not agree on, Im not familiar with how these contracts work (who's will save us money and who's will hurt us) But I just recall Telesco stating that he will go through and evaluate every single player and discuss if they can contribute to this team or not
