The Giants are off Monday and play a 3 game series in LA before coming here. It will be interesting to see how bad of a reaction he will get here if he sets the record. I have tickets to the game Saturday night that I bought a long time ago with no thought that I could see the record set. I imagine if he does it in LA it will be worse than here since the rivalry between the Giants and Dodgers is a big deal.

It would be funny if it were made in either park and the long lasting footage included deafening boos in the background.

I actually hope he hits it in San Diego in an 8-1 loss. (for the Giants)

It'd be interesting to see how many Padres fans care more about how the Padres gave up 756 more than the fact the Padres had just won a game.

As long as he does it in an NL out of SF there will be tons of booing and jeering, which is cool.

I know this is evil... but I hope one of those broken down steriod knees gives out rounding second on his record breaking trot.

If you're going to hope for injury it'd be probably be better to root for it to happen before he hits another HR.

The Duds be hatin on the Gnats more than any team.

Sportscenter showed a snippet of a Bonds' interview from 2005. He said that in LA, they yell "you sukk!" louder than anywhere else. Then he said, 'If you have 53,000 people yelling "you sukk!" at you, you must be pretty good."

I hope he does it in LA, so the circus doesnt come here. And, the fans give him an appropriate reaction.:icon_toast:

I think I read where he has more HRs agin Pads pitchin than any other team, and that incident with the syringe has gotta stick in his craw, so it's not like he doesn't have motivation here.

    jes sayin

He seems to feed off negativity. He might just raise his arms, signaling people to "bring it".

He has more people yelling at him in LA, but SD is where the giant syringe incident was.

Posted this in the lounge as well, so padding it here:

I heard this on the Radio this morning that the 3rd game in the upcoming series between the Giants and the Dodgers in LA is:

    "Steroid Awareness Day" :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

Not sure if it is true or not, but that is damn funny!

I guess you don't get the point.

That ball belongs in the HOF.

Nobody is going to offer "millions" for that ball. Just watch.

Maguires ball went for 3 million if i recall correctly. Could be wrong but the word "million" is attached to it.

The ball will find its way to the HOF eventually, but if i catch the ball....its payday for me ;)

I'd ensure the ball would find its way to the HOF.

But I'd ensure a few mil would find it's way to me before I do.

The possibility that Bonds does it at San Diego...is now a reality...taken out of the game with his second walk in the game v.s. the Dodgers.
