Looks like the Premiership could go right to the wire this year. Tottenham could actually win the bloody thing the way things are going. My team, Leeds Utd, soundly beat 4-1 at home this evening by Birmingham. The transfer window closes in about 30 mins and no sign of any players coming in.
I am not too worried yet Paddy. The African Cup of Nations and these "unfortunate" red card suspensions, plus being a striker down due to the Tevez situation is affecting City. Mancini anticipated this.
Leicester City still alive in the FA Cup................thats all that matters. Go ya little Foxxxxxxxxxxes !!!!
That's what you get for asking how many pins in cricket. Jack knows footie... but doesn't have a particularly high regard for it. Then again... Jack's high regard list isn't very extensive.
As we've discussed before SandyBob, as a kid I was huge follower of English football back in the 70's and 80's, just lost track of it when I moved to the States in the late 80's as it wasn't that big on TV over there. Have always tried to keep an eye on what the Foxes are up to over the years, which these days is far easier with the net ofcourse.
good auld Stevie Claridge. Hes got his foot in the door at the BBC and is an analyst on the Football League Show every Saturday night.
Just heard that Leeds have sacked their manager Simon Grayson. I feel sorry for the guy. He hasnt been given a penny to spend on new players, despite the bad result last night we are only 3 points outside the playoffs. I guess it goes to show that Chairmen expect miracles.
Ahhh... a David 110 sighting. I wonder how good it has to go for Arsenal before Sir Boltman graces us with a visit.
Mancini takes blame for City's 1-0 loss to Everton. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...ni-admits-to-mistakes-against-everton?cc=5901
First thing I see after I wake this morning is the situation in Eygpt ................. what can you say !!!! Just incredible.

Good news and bad news. Good news is: 2. Bundesliga starts again this weekend. Go Altibeirs, Fuerth, and E. Frankfurt. Bad news: I signed a new contract to work in Louisville, KY next week. Bourbon country here I come.
That picture makes me crack up every time. Crazy St. Pauli fans. Since St. Pauli's is a terrible beer, I can't root for em.
The Holsten brewery is only a mile or so from the Reeperbahn. Closer than the Volksparkstadion actually.
Haha... I've heard many things about the Reeperbahn. But I only drink Holsten when I'm in Russia. Russia doesn't make the greatest beer. The concentrate on vodka.
