Dont worry, The Republic of Ireland will hopefully be able to assist with that Not long to go now to the Championships.... roll on June. Excitement beginning to build here in Ireland. Twenty thousand people expected to travel from the Emerald Isle to Poland.
Don't worry about Tyce. David Silva's single handed demolishing of the US national side has left some residual resentment. But he will get over it.
Unreal... Fortuna D'dorf lost to freaking Rostock yesterday. Hoping for a Magpie victory (and shutout) today. --------------------------------------------- Yes, 2-0 victory by the Magpies, with Cisse (transfer from SC Freiburg) scoring both goals.
Desperate times for Man City. The Rags are pulling away. Samir Nasri will be back to harass his old club.
Arshavin is not a greedy traitor! He just doesn't like to play with more than 50% effort at any given time. Kinda like Michael Laudrup only Michael's 50% was still world class.
Cashmir Nasri on the other hand, could've been an Arsenal legend and maybe the best French player since Zidane. Instead, he took a huge payday to sit on the bench half the time, and let his talent be wasted in a system that doesn't suit him.
0-0 at halftime. Toure injured and Balotelli as well. Balotelli should've been gone for his reckless tackles on Sagna and Song.
Didn't expect a 0-0 tie at the half. So far, the best defender in the gane is Vermaelen. He knocked Van Persies header out of the goal.
He was injured. Arteta man of the match! Sick goal! Balotelli got the red he deserved in the 1st half.
Disappointing result but Arsenal deserved the win based on the run of play. Well it appears we will have to make due with 2nd place. Champions League qualification is nothing to sneeze at. It was a good run this year. In the old days I was happy if City made top of the table for even a week. btw... Sir Boltman... I respectfully disagree in the case of Samir Nasri. He will better reach his full potential over the long run with Manchester City imo.
Tough loss Sandy, and I think that was the dagger for vying for top of the table. Unfortunately, Man U will win again.
Except Nasri is entering the prime of his career and he would've been the absolute #1 playmaker for us! Especially with Ramsey underperforming and Wilshere being sidelined for the year. Can you honestly say that if Nasri had stayed our chances at the title wouldn't have risen dramatically? The two ingredients missing this season was health and midfield creativity. Even with our poor health we are in 3rd. Nasri'd take care of the creativity.
Man City without David Silva in top form is just another good football team. And he hasn't been quite right for a couple of months now. It is the one loss they couldn't overcome. Nasri might be the player to duplicate some of his magic, but that is still a work in progress. The future bodes well for us... but this is all going to take some time.
Im not sure the powers that be at Man City will see it that way. The amount of money spent suggests they wanted immediate results. They have an FA Cup but early elimination from the CL and now, although not over, the possibility of blowing a decent league in the premiership to their greatest rivals. The feeling here in Ireland/UK is that City have blown it. Ballotelli needs to go , hes suspended for the rest of the league and for Citys sake I hope hes never seen in the sky blue shirt again, nor indeed in the PL, he is a head case, a danger to others players. Silva greatly missed by City.
Wow... Wigan beat Man U. Maybe it's not over just yet. Sandy, when's the Manchester Derby? Apr 30th? Hooray for Der Cluberers.
Arsenal won 3-0 and lead by 5 over Spurs! Dortmund sealed their 2nd league title in a row vs Bayern. Ajax is taking the Eredivisie by the throat.
