Unfortunately tragedy is something that Russians sort of become desensitized to, but this type of thing really strikes home for people because hockey's so popular. These guys were household names. Yaroslavl is a huge hockey town. It's like Russia's Buffalo. Everybody loves hockey. It's one of the few cities where hockey's bigger than soccer. It's just devastating to the city. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/spor...list-weighs-in-on-the-tragedy/article2157987/
Good read on that article. One thing about Russia is that it is so huge. There are hockey teams from Western Russia, norther tip, southern side, and even to Siberia. Plus teams from former Soviet states such as Belarus, Latvia... etc. Plane travel is required. The Russian winter is no joke, and they will be facing winter fairly soon. Travel can be very dangerous and they all know this. After talking to the gal in Yaroslavl, the city is in a state of shock and some anger.
I suppose working Saddam into a losing posture should not be too tough if necessary. Wonder if Sir Boltfan is on his way or will be the last one to turn off the lights on the old thread. I thought about posting my response to your game day smack over there as well... but thought better of it... (could have been deleted as too political).
It's Sir Boltman not fan! I finally joined the fracas. Arsenal can't get a break man. Wilshere and Verm out at least 2 months! To top it off Barca decides to admit Cesc was worth the initial 52m pound valuation by Wenger!
I think Arsenal can't fall too far behind at this stage. A loss to the lowly Swans will no doubt trigger a crisis.
It's cool man. Glad to be here! Which mod was banning you and why? Was it CT? I'll get them to lock up the other one. It's a shame though.....my 1st legit thread!
Per is a great addition imo! I just wish they could've secured one more CB and a young creative mid like Hazard/Gourcuff/Martin/M'vila/Eriksen.
In my User CP it states that Silly Bolt Fan handed out the infraction point... so it could be fair to assume he banned me as well. CT just piped up a bit in the Moderator Issues thread... but that is just a bit like Vlad Putin turning up to show his support for Medvedev. There are a few other refugees here that just got fed up with that song and dance routine. Not to diminish your accomplishment sir... but that thing had some heavy duty mold growing on it. It was buried so deep that I had to use the search function to find it. When my favorite player (David Silva)... had that game in the friendly against what was my favorite team to see defeated... (with the exception of the Rags of course)... I was so elated I knew I had to post it somewhere. Memory served right that there was an existing thread. That drew Tyce into the fray and we had a good thing going during the Gold Cup... which carried over to the Women's WC. But unfortunately those over at .com aren't all that interested in club futbol. Thanks again for joining us here.
I really don"t have a real history of that... (but absolute shet loads of posts that have been heavily edited or deleted). In all, two one week Cabo trips from .com... (the first of which was commuted to two days because CT's wording of it drew the ire of Joelbolt the admin over there). And of course my lifetime ban from GTP... (Gratify the Penis)... for insulting the Jeromey Clary bashers and calling them names.
No doubt... although in the context of the old thread anything not involving the US or Mexico probably wouldn't get much response. (though David 110 did follow the Copa). http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/14834439.stm
I love Friday morning Bundesliga games. Can't wait to wake up. 2. Liga - Gruether Fürth v Duisburg 1. Liga - FC Augsburg v Bayer 04 Leverkusen
