As new Sheriff around here, I have ruled that until soccer abolishes the off-sides rule and removes 50 yards of playing field, my subjects will no longer be making posts about this excuse to drink and riot. You have been warned...now act like adults and do what you are told
hello all I have been adsent for a month, still getting over the Republic of Irelands abysmal Euro 2012. On a brighter note I can report that Bundesliga team Hannover 96 are on their way to Dublin http://www.uefa.com/uefaeuropaleague/news/newsid=1843633.html
Wow. Harsh punishment for the Altbiers. Having to play their first home game in the 1.Liga without any spectators. A bit extreme of a punishment. http://www.bundesliga.de/en/liga/news/2011/0000215978.php
Disagree. It hurts the team more than it hurts their fans. The team has no support for their first home game in the 1.Liga in many years, let alone against M'gladbach.
Not sure where else to put this, but the opening ceremonies in London were terrible. China beat them out by 100x 4 years ago. Terrible showing.
mahahaha... T.G. Sandolf applied and was accepted for a job producing feature segments for a nightly voetbol program not only for the Hoserland, but for Fox in the Evil Empire as well.
Congrats. I'm sure you know a little about Kanada football, but what do you know about the evil empire of Chinese football?
Good lord, it doesn't matter whether its England or Great Britain, they simply cannot win at penalty kicks.
Womens Olympic final... USA vs Japan. World cup rematch. Your Canucks played well Sandy. They gave us a serious scare. I've heard many canadians scorn the ref's, but with Tancredi head stomping one of our defenders, I don't feel bad about getting a call.
I figure Juventus. City seems seriously concerned about the FFP rule. The Rags have their debt to cope with.
Very good for zie women Canucks. Beat France 1-0 for the bronze. And I agree Sandy, Olympic soccer is not a major tournament.
It is kind of tricky. RVP wants the kind of money in weekly wages that Tevez, Aguero, Looney and even Adebayor are getting in a long term deal. Arsenal can't afford it... and RVP is 29 years old. Despite putting together a glorious campaign last year, many doubt if he has another three or four of those left in him. His injury record has not been the greatest.
