FCB... the EPL Fantasy game is like the Yahoo NFL one in a way that you need to water the plant once a week. You are allowed a certain number of free transfers to replace injured or useless players. You have four subs you can put into play depending on the opponents of the regulars. There are two wildcards you can use to make unlimited transfers... (one anytime... the second during a specific period).
Both teams do not have all of their #1's playing. Clint Dempsey has to start for Fulham on Saturday, so there was no way he was able to make the trip. I'm surprised Everton has allowed Tim Howard to make the trip, but I guess not running around for 90 minutes isn't so bad on the body. Chicharito plays for ManU so I don't think he will be there for Mexico either although I have not seen the lineup for Mexico.
Go to the Pitch Howlers page, and click forum. I posted MOST of the rules there. It's a bit confusing of a read the first time, but it will make sense. Most of the people playing are rookies or 2nd year players for EPL, so I thought it best to spell out the rules as best I can. I learned something I did not even know from last year.
When you meet the Canadian Women's coach, ask him if he would do the "they're dirty in the box" ploy if he had a 2nd chance
Wenger must be sick about having to sell RVP to United. Rooney, RVP, Hernandez, Welbeck, wow. Presumably Berbatov is now history?
There goes our title chances.....why couldn't RVP show the same loyalty Wenger has shown him? He stood by him all these years that he was plagued by injuries! 1 great season out of 8 and you walk away? That's unbelievable to me.
I am wondering how long before you call RVP "Cashmir" and when your rants against the Rags match those you had for City?
This also begs the question. How do they utilize RVP, Looney, Welbeck and Chicharito? Or... who gets traded, sold, transferred... etc? ----------------------------- ****, I forgot about Kagawa.
You mean Van PurseStrings? My hate for each Manchester club is different. City because of the $ and United because of the rivalry. Both are different from the Spuds.
That has potential no doubt! I love those signings a lot but RVP is a different class of player. We always cope well with losing strikers so Podolski and Giroud will most likely mitigate the loss. I'd like one or two more signings but we'll see.
I didn't think I would ever feel hate towards a player like the way I hate Nasri, but this is just as bad. He better not be expecting a warm reception on April 27 2013.
Goal.com predictions... http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/ed...ity-to-retain-the-title-rooney-for-the-golden
Interesting. A lot of predictions have Norwich in the drop zone. I didn't think the Canaries were that bad, but I haven't noticed them losing a lot of players.
The drop zone is tough to predict. Much harder than the top four. One guy had Aston Villa in there. I don't think Norwich will go down.
I'll take a shot at picking top 3 and bottom 3 in EPL and Bundesliga. EPL top 3 1. Man City 2. Arsenal 3. Manchester United EPL bottom 3 18. Wigan 19. Southampton 20. West Brom Bundesliga Top 3 1. Bayern Munich 2. Borussia Dortmund 3. Werder Bremen 4. Fortuna Duesseldorf (assuming all of their home games are played to closed doors... so no one knows what will hit them ) Budesliga Bottom 3 16. SC Freiburg 17. Augsburg 18. Furth
Here is my response Tyce. EPL top 3 1. Manchester City 2. Manchester United 3. Chelsea EPL bottom 3 18. Aston Villa 19. Wigan 20. Southampton Bundesliga Top 3 1. Borussia Dortmund 2. FC Bayern 3. Leverkusen Bundesliga Bottom 3 16. Nürnberg 17. Augsburg 18. Düsseldorf
Ahahahahaha. Good one. Can't see Nürnberg falling. I like Timothy Chandler, Pekhart, Gebhart, and Esswein. Fortuna will stand tall!
Sandy, I imagine you don't peruse ESPN soccernet much, but I found this article quite amusing. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/feature/_/id/1135807/espn-fc-premier-league-preview-?cc=5901 The rest you can read on your own as you have time.
