What a farkin' debacle. 8-1. This makes being a Chargers fan an absolute joy in comparision. Let's try... ALL OF THE ABOVE!
\ Ohhhhhh Canada. I love the 1st 2 options. Defence... We call it DEFENSE. Offence... Let's try offense.
The new strategy in qualifying for Qatar. Forget Russia. They have an abundant supply of nekkid women.
Now this couldn't be our own PaddyIrishman could it? http://blog.foxsoccer.com/post/33912329268/michael-tonges-goal-earned-leeds-a-1-1-draw-at
Some top teams fall during Champions League Group stage. Arsenal - 0 Schalke - 2 Arsenal looked flat for the 2nd game in a row. Wenger looks lost on the sidelines IMO. Want to score more goals??? Then quit taking Podolski out after the 60th minute every game. Dortmund - 2 Real Madrid - 1 Real Madrid lose once again to bogeyman (insert any Bundesliga team here ). Real Madrid has won only once on German soil since 1966. Ajax - 3 City - 1 I'll let Sandy try to explain this one. Shakhtar Donetsk - 2 Chelski - 1 Stunner for the defending Champions League champs.
What can I say? Catastrophic defending. A midfield that can't hold possession. And strikers that run hot and cold. We're faaked. One point from three matches thanks mainly to a fortunate hand ball call at home versus Dortmund who had thrashed us over the duration of that game. Too late now... but we need to get Maicon, Javi Garcia and Silva back. Mancini is going to have to cash Tevez or Balotelli out and go after Falcao.
Goddamn it Arsenal! We look distraught and complacent in the final third! Cazorla is really the only threat but he cant do it by himself. Ajax played beautifully and deserved the win imo. Mancini's lack of tactical fortitude has been exposed in Europe...he literally is Maradona-esque. If he keeps this up...say hello to Jose Mourinho City fans. I think Chelsea will get Falcao, City will get Jovetic, and Arsenal will get Lewandoski or Remy in January.
Falcao is awesome but I think City have plenty of top class strikers...its the defence and Mancini that are the issue. You cant deny Mancini is at fault for their European woes. His substitutions today were ludicrous...switching to 3-5-2 exposes the wings and Ajax were marauding down that open space. He has no excuses for his poor European record. He has by far the best EPL starting XI and a loaded bench. They should have beaten Ajax 4-0.
They should have beaten Ajax 1-0 after Samir (aka Cashmir) Nasri scored. Toure wasn't right. Barry seems a waste of space. No Silva... no possession game. What was Lescott thinking on that corner? Maybe sending Nigel De Jong to AC Milan was a bit premature.
Ajax played very nicely so I think they were gonna score no matter what. I dont think Silva would have changed much seeing as City needed to overpower them...Toure was the key and he was hobbled early. I dont think its Jo's fault..its the zonal marking concept. Its been criticized very often this year. The announcer for the City Arsenal match reamed into us when we conceded the Lescott header. This time he was on the receiving end. They should buy a true CDM like De Rossi.
I know. It doesn't help that Wenger keeps taking Podolski out after 60 minutes when its obvious Gervhino should be subbed. Its a talented roster to keep chasing that many points behind 1st place, and to lose at Carrow Rd is not acceptable. Arsenal need to take charge against QPR early and often tomorrow.
Transfer window will be interesting this year on who makes moves. Right now, chelsea looks the best all around. My magpies are barley hanging in mid table and Cisse has not broken thru yet.
Al Abbas defeats Bundesbiers in the World Challenge, but loses to the Random Scrubs in the Pitch Howlers. It was a rough weekend of results. Thank Gawd Tevez scored.
Hoserland is a soccer wilderness. Look at the choice of "top" teams. hahaha... Newcastle? hahahaha.... http://www.thestar.com/sports/socce...portsnet-boost-premier-league-soccer-coverage
