He was the former CEO at Nike. Quite useful in marketing terms... somewhat of an embarrassment in dealing with players, agents and the manager (Mancini). An unfortunate situation, but he brought it upon himself. You would expect someone on £1.8 mil. per year to be better at diplomacy than Conc.
Very well IMO. She ref'd a good game, always in the right position. She's in good shape, and not bad of a looker, especially in her earlier years. She's not afraid of the men. Her skills got her to where she is, and deservedly so.
Bayern Munich 7 - SC Freiburg 0. Mario Gomez with 4 goals. Hertha BSC 2 - Borussia Dortmund 1... a bit of a shocker.
Fortuna Düsseldorf - Karlsruher SC 4:2 (2:1) Fortuna Düsseldorf go to 2nd. Can get bumped to 3rd if St. Pauli defeats 1860 Munich tomorrow.
Yes!!! FC Eintracht Bamberg 5:2 win today... climbing their way to 9th in the Bayernliga. ------------------------------------------------ Will be out all day tomorrow. Flying to SD for the game in the morning, then back after. Go Billy Goats!
Todays Champions League games: Chelsea (ENG) v Leverkusen (GER) - 2:0 Genk (BEL) v Valencia (ITA) - 0:0 Olympiacos (GRE) v Marseille (FRA) - 0:1 Dortmund (GER) v Arsenal (ENG) - 1:1 Porto (POR) v Shakhtar Donetsk (UKR) - 2:0 APOEL (CYP) v Zenit St Petersburg (RUS) - 2:1 Barcelona (ESP) v Milan (ITA) - 2:2 Plzen (CZE) v BATE Borisov (Belarus) - 1:1 Gute Spiele, viel Glück an alle.
Anyone watch any of the games today? I saw Chelsea v Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund v Aresnal. Neither German side looked good today.
I watched Barca vs Milan and Arsenal vs Dortmund. For entertainment I'd probably say the Barca game was the best of the day. I'm disappointed Arsenal didn't get the win but Dortmund is a frightening place to play. As for their game vs Swansea.......they were lucky that the goalie had a lapse.
I didnt any CL games last night but I believe Arsenal were a tad unlucky not to come away from Dortmund with a win. Tomorrow night Shamrock Rovers play Rubin Kazan in their first Europa League group game. UEFA gave them permission to erect a temporary stand at thier stadium to bring capacity up to 8,000. I believe the game is a sell out. Good luck to them, this is a step into the unknown for a League of Ireland side.
I watched that game too. Man, I don't know what the goalie was thinking, he tried to roll the boll out to his defender but it hit the defender in the back of the heel, and rolled backwards right to where Arshavin was standing, and he kicked it in.
Big day in history today... and I have to work. Shyte! btw... good results for Al Abbas last weekend. The NFL version was 3-1... the EPL version 4-0.
Just plain... I would have gone for David Silva given the choice. I can remember when #21 used to move well in a Chargers' similar blue as well. --- BONUS! The City match is one one of the internal channels here. yay!
What did you think? The "other" Manchester team also drew 1:1 Bayern got a good away win at Villareal.
