I was going to post this on the EMBRACE THE HATE thread, but decided that an article this special deserves a place in the sun.

    Philip Rivers = Terrell Owens.

They're the same person; trash talking twins. Absolute doppelgangers.

Yup I hear Philip calling his receivers out all the time after a loss.
Didn't he accuse his whole offensive line of being gay?

    Yup. Exact same person.

As close as Bret Farv and OJ Simpson.
They both have/had a wife.

I reckon this is a sarcastic joke of an article?... Tell me somebody doesn't actually think this?... If a person out there is being paid to write this then off to Guantanamo with them ASAP.

I'm saving and cataloging every single one of these articles.

In 5 years, when all these bastards are swinging from Philip's nuts, I will repost them for all to laugh at.

This guy is a joke, a punchline, trying to get his 15 minutes in the spotlight by writing a article TRASH TALKING a trash talker. Check out his other fine literary works, especially the one where he blows Randy Moss.

    Oh, how I love irony.

No, they will be happy as ****, because they will have another 2 weeks of pissing and moaning about the Chargers which equals more hate for us to hold close in sweet embrace.

22 mph with gusts up to 39 mph. 5 below with the wind chill. The wind will affect the passing game.

great, that means i'd be more willing on alot of plays to leave Cro with moss one-on-one and bring the safeties closer to the line to defend the short pass and run

Blizzard conditions all right....It'll be raining footballs into VJ and Chambers hands all day long.

The wind they feel will be Cro jumping the routes and flying by en route to the end zone.....:abq2:

Rivers has never, "shot his mouth off at the wrong time." This is pure media invention. He's hyper verbal. He likes to talk when he's playing, to opponents, to fans. But it's nothing more than enthusiam. He says things like, "How'd you like that?" Hardly vicious or inappropriate.

He has no control over his emotions. Bad sign for a quarterback. Show me a hyper emotional QB and I'll show you a losing QB. Your best chance may be Voleck.

How's the pep rally shaping up?

Here is my email to the author. Sam, pay attention.

Please send me links to the times when Rivers called his teamates gay, or called them out as weak, or pouted for not getting the ball, or accused his coaches of sabatoging him, or tried to commit suicide, or hammed it up to the media, or got suspended for a season by his team for conduct detrimental or put on fake tears for the media while subtly calling out his QB. Heck, just give me one instance of Rivers acting like a punk off the field. My memory is not so good, so I must have just missed all those things that Rivers did. He would have to have done some of them to be equal to Owens. No self respecting or honorable journalist would write that they are the same thing unless alot of those incidents were done similarly by Rivers. You have self respect, Right?

Yeah, it's funny when they say that Philip Rivers' lack of focus is costing his team. The guy has won more games in his first two years than pretty much anyone, leads comeback wins when a "lack of focus" indicates he should crumble, then wins two straight playoff games with his arm.

    Yep, he's really killing us.

It's even funnier when Pat fans say that we've got a better chance with Volek in there. That's when you KNOW that they're bandwagon ball-watchers who haven't REALLY thought about the opponent who's playing them this Sunday.

The only people who are "losing focus" due to PR's "trash talk" are the media and our rivals in the League.

If Philip is getting under some skins, so be it. Isn't that the whole point?

I forgot the four comeback wins on the road down by at least 14 in the last two years: Cincy, Tenn, Denver and Seattle. Not exactly easy places to win let alone comeback the way he and the team did.

There is an explanation for this kind of behavior. I believe it's called whistling past the grave yard. You know, to trick the nasty ghosties into thinking you're not afraid.

How you can "shoot your mouth off at the wrong time" when you're "shooting your mouth off" ALL THE TIME? :icon_rofl:

Seriously, if I was a player that allowed Philip Rivers smack to get under my skin, I'd take a close look at myself to make sure it wasn't true after all.

Have you ever seen Brett Favre play? That's sort of how Philip plays, with reckless abandon. He has fun. Favre high fives a ref after a TD pass and that's great. If Philip did the same thing, he'd be, "emotionally unstable."

    Right on man! Excellent letter.

I have to ask, where is all the hate coming from? Because the Chargers had the temerity to beat the Colts, AGAIN? Because they're afraid we might just beat the pre-annointed SB winning Patriots? We have a plethora of pro-bowlers? What gives? I'm at a loss as to understand what in the heck the Chargers did to "earn" all the hate?

The media is a bunch of bought off ashwipes. The pats are a cheating , arragant bunch of ashwipes. When the chargers beat the pats this sunday the world will rejoice.:flag::flag:
