Rookie wide receiver Vincent Jackson returned to the practice field Wednesday morning as the Chargers held their final day of training camp. The Bolts' second-round pick in April's draft has been hampered by an Achilles injury but was able to hit the field for the first time in over a week.
"It's been really frustrating to sit there and watch," Jackson said. "I got some good work in today, and hopefully this thing is behind me."
Chargers Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer complimented Jackson on his play and said that he hopes to get the young pass catcher plenty of snaps in Friday night's preseason contest at Minnesota.</blockquote>
