I don't like it because I don't like fashion trends and people who like to say they want to "do their own thing" all keeping up with what's "hip" like sheep instead of wearing what they want to.

I think it's a huge stretch to insinuate someone's a "closet Raiders fan" just because they want to stay trendy, though.

I will be marketing a Red and an Oarnge Charger Jerseys. Should sell like hotcakes, like my kosher pork rinds.

Dang! I'm late to market. I was going to sell red white and blue Chargers jersies, I'm sure they'd be a hit here in San Diego.

I have a black Merriman one. I love it, especially because it pisses off crotchety old men who think the holy roller happened last season. I'm sure they're the same people that are complaining about the new uniforms and say every week "They should go back to the one's they had in 1983!!!!!!!111~"

Well, until then, I shall wear my black jersey!

But seriously, how can anyone condemn a fellow charger fan? We've been throught the same hardships. I think the girls look cute in their little pink jerseys and stuff. Of course we all know and love the charger colors, but a little variety now and then is all good.

Now, I need to get my charger shoes from that custom reebok place:yes:

People throw around 'Not a True Fan' alot. I have done it. Many people here can be called on the carpet for it. What does it mean if I tell Exodus, MOP, or Captain D that they are not true fans.

    In a word? NADA!

I am free to spew my opinions like so much noxious rectal air, but in fact who am I to proclaim someone a fan or not a fan. Am I the official Fan Rator of the Chargers? HELL NO!

So it is just my opinion, same as if I call a fan clueless, or say they should don the Silver and Black. That is just my opinion and a piss poor one at that.

I get the fact that the balck jerseys look like raider colors. I get that there has never been a pink Charger uniform in the history of the team. I dont like them. Think they suck. But does that make the people who do like them wrong, or less fans than I?

    NO.

To each their own. Unifacation through diversity. Is that not what this community and the American community is built on?

Every community except the Raiders. Theirs is built upon a concrete building surrounded by a barbed-wire perimeter with a turret at each corner.

The Stillers and Bears have been wearing black jerseys a hell of a lot longer than the Duds. I think, not liking a jersey is ok but but it's getting a bit chicken **** to call out a Bolts fan for wearing a black Bolt jersey. They're ugly and I wouldn't waste my money on one but hey, whatever floats your boat.:bolt:

I liked it, too, but noxious rectal air is redundant. Unless you know people with some really fascinating dietary preferences.

Yeah, I remember when I was young and thought doing things to piss off crotchety old men was really cool and edgy. Now, thinking back on it, I realize the crotchety old men were pretty much right most of the time.

It will be your turn one day, you'll be the crotchety old man.

And yeah, I will probably say every week that the new unis suck, because they do suck. Really bad.

OK, I need to steer this ship back on course...

I was being a wise *** with the original post, or so I thought. But just to clarify, if you want to wear a butt ugly piece of **** (MY OPINION), then by all means do so. I guess a better way to say it would have been that I cannot fathom how anyone who proclaims to be a Charger fan would wear the colors of our single most despised opponent (at least I think that's true for most of us, though they are falling from that perch due to sucking so badly the past few years).

Far be it for me to be the jersey police, I'm gonna be in hell from now on anyway because I think the new ones are weak *** NFL Europa rejects with backwards/upside down bolts and gay WNBA numbers on them.

But hey, maybe that's just me.

Get off the lawn .... turn down that loud music ......

The players seem to like the new uni's, but I don't care for them. I wish they wouldn't have changed the Powder Blues, and they should have put numbers on the helmets.

But ...... I'm well on my way to being a crotchety old man, and I can remember the Holy Roller like it was yesterday.

It isn't even about being old.

They just took something that looked great, and replaced it with something that looks really bad. And in the process, they killed the throwbacks, which should have never, ever happened.

And why? So these guys could have their own era??? If I've ever heard a bullshit made up reason for anything in my life, that's it. Winning the freaking Super Bowl would define this team's era more than ANYTHING.

Sorry man, I couldn't care less what other people wear. I guess I'm just not as fashion conscious as you all. Thanks for pointing out the black jerseys though. They sound funky. Good bless America :flag:
