The Wii is great fun. The PS3 is way to pricey just to have some overratted bluray player. It's going to be obsolete in 2 years anyway and I hardly see any developers really excited about it. Sony is hoping Hollywood will support it, but looks like the trend is towards HD-DVD. Um, so yeah. Xbox + Gears of War is most choice. Wii + Zelda = . PS3 - $600 = I am a geek. I don't think anybodys going to buy me some big wheels and some new pipes for my truck this year, but that's what's hot for me. Got my rents a new camera also. Digital cameras are hot gifts always. Me and my girl take trips for our gifts to each other, so we don't have to buy each other anything fancy, though I'm sure she wouldn't mind a ring...
We do that occasionally as well, just go somewhere, just the two of us. Takes alot of extra shopping stress of our minds. I had my boys rewrite their xmas list. The only thing my boy wanted that was "big" wish was an mp3 player. Walmart has a 20gb mp3 player (brand name Creative) for about 150.00. Not bad for what you get. I dont want to spend too too much on one for him cuz I told him this is a test to see if he is responsible enough to take care of his belongings. I dont mind gettin my boys things but they have to show me they are responsible and dont leave things laying around the house. He also said he wants a trumpet...gawd no, please dont end up like trumpy. He currently is in band and plays the trombone and I told him I would get a trumpet if thats what he truly wants to play, not cuz he wants to "try" it. Pretty much 3 weekends to shop and I still have no clues what to get these peoples. I hate shopping!!! Theres only so much charger gear one can possess.

Im only more confused on which mp3 player to get. After looking at all the reviews, the zune is up there with a 4.8 ratingand can get it under 250. The creative 20gb was rated at 4.6 and the 30gb was a 4.7. I defenitely going to stay away from the ipod video, even though the 30gb ipod videos are going for 237, the same price as the zune. Someone help me. I think Im going to call CC and ask for there opinion.
I've found that just about everyone has some kind of bias. I suggest you make a personal decision after trying them all out.
I might just go with the original plan or with the zune. gunna call CC and get there opinion..besides, they know which ones are returned the most.
Ok, so I call CC and its like so difficult trying to get the right person to speak with..you know one of those.."let me transfer you" bs comments. So I called best buy and the guy I spoke with said its pretty much preference. The only difference between the Ipod and the Zune is that Ipod deals with !tunes and once you deal with that, you have to stick with itune music...something like that. And Zune deals with microsoft media player. Said Ipods freeze up, one of the biggest problems people are having. But also mentioned that if you buy the service plan, you can just go in and get a new one. So this really doesnt help. I think Im going to do one of two things... 1. Pick between the 3. 2. Just buy a gift card and take my boy in and see what he wants. Talk to the people there and get better opinions. 3. See 1 and 2.

I have that right now. Just a fun to play game. Now "Dead Rising" is fun, but if you have reactions of a slug like myself then you become zombie food when you go toe to toe with most of the bosses. GoW reminds me a lot like the Halo series. The games are fun, not too complex, good graphics, has a good storyline, and is playable. I've played through the first two difficulty levels and am on INSANE mode right now. My only gripe is that the AI for the humans, that fight besides you agaist the Locust, are idiots.
So I bought the Zune...Will update you guys on it after xmas. I bought the 2 year warranty with it, which was 80 bux. Anything happens to it, it gets replaced. Its a one time free replacement of the unit. After 2 years, the warranty can not be renewed. So I told the guy that was kinda dumb and that I should just bust it up before the two years to get a new one...he agreed.
