HIGH SCHOOL Bainbridge, coached by Greg Guy; The Atlanta Journal-Constitution Super Southern 100; Rivals.com #29 outside linebacker in the nation; PrepStar Top 200 - #22 linebacker; #86 on the ESPN 150 list; Scout.com No. 37-ranked player at his position; First team Class AAAA All-State as a junior and first-team all-region as a senior; Had 34 tackles (seven tackles for loss), two fumble recoveries and one interception returned for a touchdown as a senior; Blocked a school-record six kicks. College Offical 40 yard dash time 4.89, not fast but his game speed looks faster benched 225 pounds 22 times, kinda weak for a linebacker, but again he looks stronger in a game in 2008, playing 12 games starting only 6 of the, his stats were 60 tackles,15 qb hurries, 2 interceptions both for touchdowns, so far this is the only stats i could find, being he was a back up for a while, he seems solid
High hopes but guarded expectations for the kid. Too often a rookie is a all pro player in the first game of presesason, only to go practice squad by the cut down date.
But sometimes that's more of a commentary on the coaching staff rather than the player. e.g. Wes Welker
excellent point.... I believe when we first started posting with one another the term we would use was.... CHURCH!
