Indie Groups Rock/Alternative Dynamite Walls, Rock/Progressive Stripes and Lines and Alternative/Rock This Holiday Life.

Dynamite Walls was the headliner and definitely warranted such. They sounded like a solid/tight band in the mold of Coldplay.

The place was packed and rocked.

The night before I joined the Army, I went to somewhere downtown to a concert...Jefferson Airplane was the headliner.

Seems like it was a theater, but I can't remember where/what. We did go to Oscar's for dinner :)

Sorry, I was so taken aback about how it looked like my brother, that I forgot to mention how cute you looked too.

I had a car with only an AM radio (with one speaker  ) when I worked at Sea World in the summers of '83 and '84. Mighty 690 was the only thing to listen to.

I went to the Chicken coming out game. I thought it was 77 or 78 though???

I still have a hard time calling it "The Murph" .....

Seems disrespectful to Jack Murphy, IMO ....

Jack Murphy died in 1980, and it was renamed that year.

I went to an exhibition game the weekend before I joined the Army-Steelers vs Chargers. Steelers had RB Leroy Keyes, Chargers had Bambi.

    This was September '67.
