Which player will be the team MVP? LT or Rivers O Merriman or Williams D Why? Cause they are just that damn good. Who will improve the most? Floyd, Jackson and the receivers. What will be the biggest difference between last season and this season? The offense will not be timid, and we will not go for stupid first down attempts on 4th down by running the ball into a stacked line.
My game predictions are identical, accept that I think they will sweep the division. In a previous post I pegged Detroit as a game they'd lose because they would be more focused on the following game with Denver. They other will be a game they look past someone, too, like Minnesota or Tennessee. Best game will be either against Chi Town or the Pats Their worst game could be in Detroit. This might Rivers year for O. Merriman or Phillips on D. Cromartie, Floyd and Jackson. Sproles will also surprise doubters even more.

Answer the following questions: What will the Chargers overall record this season be? i say 15-1 What will be their best game? indy, peytons @$$ is grass with our d-line puttin pressure on him all day, and a young, aware safety that hustles for the ball (as you saw against SF) What will be their worst game? somewhere thats not a dome, where the weather aint all that great, so arrowhead maybe? Which player will be the team MVP? sproles or my boy m-80. Why? sproles cuz he will give us amazing field position if he doesnt take it to the house. M-80 because hes gunna come up with big catches and big play for us (i can feel it, thats one of the things i asked him) Who will improve the most? M-80 & sproles, both will show that you can bounce back from an injury and still have major game. What will be the biggest difference between last season and this season? we will be a threat all over the field, on both sides of the ball, of course the running game will be killer, and the passing game will be the most unexpected, but that of course will be an option. our d line will continue to bring the heat, linebackers, theyll do theyre thing, corners... i think they will be good, but still an area in which we need a lil bit of improvement, and our safeties will be MUCH better than last year.i think we can be -- at one point -- number one defense and offense simultaneously.
What will the Chargers' record be this season? 13-3 Losses: @ Denver - Dunno if we repeat the "magic" in Mile High again. @ Jacksonville - A tougher team to beat in Jacksonville than many think. They are 16-8 at home the past 3 seasons. @ Oakland - What?!?!? We'll have the division sewn up by then, and our starters will only play the first half en route to another #1 or #2 playoff seed and bye. What will be their best game? At New England. We beat what some consider the odds on favorite to reach the Super Bowl. What will be their worst game? At Oakland. Even though the loss will be because our starters only play part of the game, any Oakland loss is tough and bad for the Bolts, no matter the reason. Which player will be the team MVP? Offensive: This Tomlinson fellow that not many have heard about. Defensive: Some dude by the name of Merriman Why? You really need to know why? Who will improve the most? Vincent Jackson. From #3 to #1 on the WR depth chart, he'll get more catches, yards, and TDs than the previous two years combined. What will be the biggest difference between last season and this season? Offensively, Norv will go for the jugular and not have his two best playmakers in the freakin' backfield as blockers during an important game! :icon_evil: Defensively, Ted Cottrell will exhibit a much more aggressive defense that pressures and blitzes from every direction. Corners and safeties are allowed to try to kill the QB now!

Home against Chiefs, we will murder them What will be their worst game? @ Minnesota (v like the Philly game when the FG was blocked) Which player will be the team MVP? Philip Rivers Why? He breaks out and throws something like 35 TDs Who will improve the most? Rivers, nobody can stop him. What will be the biggest difference between last season and this season? LT becomes a pure luxury in that we are not as reliant on him as before, he will still have 1350 yds rushing and 25 TDs but Rivers and the passing game is gonna shine bigtime. :icon_toast:
Chargers go 13-3 MVP: LT, still the greatest I just called the psychic hotline and it told me: Merriman gets 3 touchdowns this year -and- Rivers makes a huge run for a game winning TD at a key moment When these things happen, at least try to act surprised.
12-4 regular season - AFC West Champions - AFC Champions Merriman will lead the league in sacks once again when teams have to start worrying about hard blitz packages up the middle, the "other guy", *and* blitzing DBs they will have to single-cover the best sack-master in the League. LT may not get the rushing record, but he will lead the league in total yards. Antonio Gates will be "typical outstanding" and will be the first TE selected to go to the 2008 Probowl. Sproles will score 2 TDs on Punt Returns. VJ will be recognized among the league's best WRs. What did I forget?

Bolt record 14-2...although I can only see one game they MIGHT lose, and that's to Denver in their place...maybe J-ville they are tough, but our overall talent is far superior. There will be three "Best" games, they will be against the Bears, Colts and Patriots. The reason is simple, these are the teams that are considered the best. Worst game...at Denver (I still give us a 50/50 chance) MVP on O will be Philip, he's about to take the next step into "ELITE" status. Norv will make Rivers the next greatest...and it starts this year. MVP on D will be either Merriman, Phillips, or J Williams...they are the rocks this unit is built on. Most improved will be either Jackson or Floyd, both have produced below their ability...until now. A SECOND MOST IMPROVED...playcalling, I've alway had a love/hate relationship with Cameron/Marty's playcalling, it cost us several games, hampered Brees's growth, and was easy to predict at the worst times...NORV will make this offense soar to places no offense has been.

14-2, losses at Jacksonville, at Denver. Best game will be against NE - time to smear the queer(s)! Worst game against J'ville - we overlook a good team. MVP - PR, 'cuz he's gonna become a true leader & keep the team focused on the big prize. Most Improved - Igor. He'll be striking fear into the hearts of lesser mortals!! What's the next question? Uh, biggest surprise will be Sproles. My guy is gonna be a key factor in our improvement, which is...oh, yeah, the AFC Championship & SB!!!
