It's funny and I'm willing to bet that if Philip Rivers (the same one that all the media heads are saying is washed up and not as good as he once was) were traded to a team like the Jets or another big market team. They would be all over that saying how Rivers will take that team to the Super Bowl and how great he is and how much better he'll make that team. Norv like his coaching, made this team stale, it and the image of the players still smell and have a sour taste because of it, This season can't come soon enough.

Honestly I don't think this is overly optimistic at all. If the OLine works some type of miracle and is able to get it done, PR has the weapons to use.

Don't you need to be injured to be comeback player? I mean unless your name is Pennington all.

    Ha-ha! There's something to that!

Rivers' "disastrous" 2012 = an 88.6 passer rating...
or about 6 points higher than Lord Eli's career mark (82.7).

Not the kind of "before" pic one usually sees re. CPoTY

You have to either be injured, or make a perceived significant turnaround in your game. I think that the only impact player who had a significant injury last season was Suggs, so it's probably going to go to someone with a performance turnaround.
