Not practicing is different from not playing.

This is very similar to what happened after the first Tennessee game. They put a brace on him and said he wouldn't practice that week. Then next thing you know he is out on the field for part of Thursday, all of Friday, and lit up the field on Sunday.

    He'll play, and play well.

I would't read too much into "not practicing this week". I think it just means they're sitting him down again tomorrow, Friday is the travel day, then Philip probably participates in walk-throughs on Saturday.

I will be very surprised if Philip sits this one out.

It's a scheme by Norv. He is very much prepared for the head games involved in winning championships, and he is prepared to duel with Belichick. All of this is fluff put out by Norv in an effort to confuse the Patriots. Norv will have Philip ready to play, and Philip will come out like a knight in shining armor to slay the dragon on Sunday.

It's not like he was mobile to begin with. He will be fine and will carve up the Pats defense with the precision of a neurosurgeon.

Like he only made it through one series against Detroit?

It's been over a month since his first injury and it's probably almost completely healed. The new injury isn't as bad as that one was. That was a partial tear, this one is just a strain.

Hell, we go with what we have and they will get the job done. WE aren't the team with a perfect record so what the fawk do we have to lose, damn, we're supposed to lose anyway.

The way I see it, it's going to be one big party in Dego either way. We ain't going in at full strength and they have to beat us, we ain't giving them the fawking game. Unless you listen to the media and the Pat fans. Lets wait until the final gun goes off then worry.

I'm sure Rivers will play, but I worry about how much missing practice will affect his play. Somebody like LT really doesn't need practice because he's a vet and been doing it for years. Quarterback is harder and Rivers is younger and less consistant.

First of all he had a bruised knee.

Now he has a strained MCL in the other leg, there is a huge difference for those who know anything about throwing mechanics, and take into account Rivers composure when players are diving at his feet.

What does MCL stand for since you're the expert? :icon_rofl:

Explain throwing mechanics while you're at it.

Actually, Joker, it was a partial tear in the other knee, not a "bruise." Philip, the trainer and Norv have all said that this knee injury isn't as serious as the one he suffered to his other knee.

If you know anything about Rivers, you know that he doesn't exactly have traditional throwing mechanics to begin with.

Your wet blanket attitude gets tired. Try having a little optimism.

To say that Rivers won't last more than a series is a ludicrous comment. You're speaking about things you could not possibly know about. Unless your Philip's doctor, you don't know the extent of his injury, so STFU and stop making ridiculous statments.

It's a good thing he kept that screen name: "3 Time World Champs"

...'cause he'll get to keep it at least through next season, too.
