I really like this schedule... OCT 12 cannot come soon enough.... Duhs on a Thursday late in the season should take away from the thug factor as well.

Here is my VERY EARLY PREDICTION

    1 Sept. 7 Carolina Panthers 4:15 p.m. (W)
    2 Sept. 14 at Denver Broncos 4:15 p.m. (W)
    3 Sept. 22 (Mon.) New York Jets 8:30 p.m. (W)
    4 Sept. 28 at Oakland Raiders 4:05 p.m. (W)
    5 Oct. 5 at Miami Dolphins 1 p.m. (W)
    6 Oct. 12 New England Patriots 8:15 p.m. (W)
    7 Oct. 19 at Buffalo Bills 1 p.m. (W)
    8 Oct. 26 at New Orleans Saints (in London) 1 p.m. (W)
    9 Nov. 2 Bye
    10 Nov. 9 Kansas City Chiefs 4:15 p.m. (W)
    11 Nov. 16 at Pittsburgh Steelers 4:15 p.m. (L)
    12 Nov. 23 Indianapolis Colts * 8:15 p.m. (W we own these *****es)
    13 Nov. 30 Atlanta Falcons 4:05 p.m. (W)
    14 Dec. 4 (Thurs.) Raiders 8:15 p.m. (W)
    15 Dec. 14 at Kansas City Chiefs 1 p.m. (L)
    16 Dec. 21 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers * 8:15 p.m. (W)
    17 Dec. 28 Denver Broncos 4:15 p.m. (W)

14-2...No way in hell we lose to the pats three times in a row. @ KC is always a tough game and Pittsburgh always plays us tough....

Beautiful. I figured that one of the games vs Indy/NE would get the SNF nod, nice to see they both did. Love the bye week right in the middle of the season. Love finishing the season against crappy teams the last 5 weeks to get healthy (aside from TB).

Nice having something to think about finally...

I'm still sore about them moving the Saints game to London.

    Love the schedule.

The London trip doesn't look like it will end up hurting us that much. I also like the fact that we get the Donks early and late, an opportunity to end their season early. Not very happy about having a Thursday Night game, but since it's against the Turds, it'll be OK. I don't like having two sets of back to back road games, one being from Chokeland to Miami, but we should be all right with that as well. Overall, I like it about as much as you can like a schedule this early in the year.

    From Fanhouse;

The NFL is releasing its complete regular-season schedule today on NFL Network, and as reporter Adam Schefter pointed out, it's a schedule that should result in the New England Patriots' 19-game regular-season winning streak being extended by at least a few games.

The Patriots' first four games come against teams with a combined 2007 record of 14-50. New England's opener is at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, and that's followed by a pair of games against AFC East rivals, Week 2 at the New York Jets and Week 3 at home against the Miami Dolphins.

After that the Patriots have their bye, and then they play the San Francisco 49ers on the road. Anything other than a 4-0 record through the first quarter of the season would be a disappointment.

And that sets up what will undoubtedly be one of the biggest games of October, when the presumably 4-0 Patriots have an AFC Championship Game rematch at the San Diego Chargers. Look for the Patriots to have a 23-game regular-season winning streak on the line.

Looks like a good schedule the only issue is that for a super bowl loser the Patriots have an easier schedule then we do. Still 14-2 does look possible and we should be in outstanding position.

Looking forward to that thursday night game against hte raiders

I like that. I think 13-3. Losses to Pitt, KC at possibly Tampa Bay. Don't want to lose that one but I think we lose to somebody we should beat.

SDR, I'm interested in the DENVER road trip. GREAT time of year!!! This has the potential to be a big roadie.

We also need to work with LVBF to get Michael's pub for the London game. :nana_dance:

You guys might want to see who comes back healthy when, prior to making predictions. If Rivers misses most of Training camp (as suggested in articles), we might start slow. The offense goes as Rivers goes.

All right, I feel like throwing out some very very early predictions, just for the hell of it.

    1 Sept. 7 Carolina Panthers 4:15 p.m.

Interesting game to start the season off with. Carolina will either be trouble, or they'll be a cakewalk. They weren't spectacular at anything last year, but who knows what that will mean for this season. Being the home opener, I think that the Chargers handle them pretty easily, watch out for Steve Smith.

    Charger win 27-14

    2 Sept. 14 at Denver Broncos 4:15 p.m.

YES! Time to hit the Donks early and hard just like last season. Send a message that we're still kings of the West, and send Cu ntler and crew into lockerroom turmoil.

    Chargers win 34-9(No td's lol)

    3 Sept. 22 (Mon.) New York Jets 8:30 p.m.

Revenge for LT and crew! Alot of the current players will remember that choke job in 04, but I don't think that this will be easy. It''s a Monday Night game, and I think that the Jets might give us a little bit of trouble. But considering that it is a primetime game, and it's at home I think that the Chargers pull it out.

    Chargers win 24-17

    4 Sept. 28 at Oakland Raiders 4:05 p.m.

    Turds

    Chargers win 27-10

    5 Oct. 5 at Miami Dolphins 1 p.m.

Possible upset, end of a back to back road trip having to fly across the country. Watch out.

    Chargers win 17-13

    6 Oct. 12 New England Patriots 8:15 p.m.

Is there any way that we lose to these shits three times in a row? I hope not. I think that winning this game will be very important for the Chargers psyche. Remember, the Patriots have to go across country to the 49ers before having to go back across country for this game. Hopefully it gives us a edge.

    Chargers win 34-28

    7 Oct. 19 at Buffalo Bills 1 p.m.

Tough game on the road before the big London trip and after having a huge win over the Patriots. I think upset.

    Chargers lose 21-17

8 Oct. 26 at New Orleans Saints (in London) 1 p.m.

After the loss to the Bills, we come in motivated and looking to put on a show for the rest of the world. No way that we lose to Brees.

    Chargers win 38-21

9 Nov. 2 Bye(I love the middle of the year bye.)

    10 Nov. 9 Kansas City Chiefs 4:15 p.m.

After a bye, at home, there should be no way that we lose this game. But, Kansas City always plays us tough.

    Chargers win 27-17

    11 Nov. 16 at Pittsburgh Steelers 4:15 p.m.

Pitt has traditionally played us very tough. I think that we match up better nowadays, but I don't like the idea of this road game in November.

    Chargers lose 28-17

    12 Nov. 23 Indianapolis Colts * 8:15 p.m.

We own these turds. It will be tough, but we're in Mannings head, and I really like the Chargers on primetime games.

    Chargers win 31-24

    13 Nov. 30 Atlanta Falcons 4:05 p.m.

 LT dominate to remind Atlanta of what they missed.

    Chargers win 34-13

    14 Dec. 4 (Thurs.) Raiders 8:15 p.m.

    Primetime!?!:icon_rofl:

    Chargers win 35-10

    15 Dec. 14 at Kansas City Chiefs 1 p.m.

God. Kansas City, in December? I don't like that game at all. We have struggled with Kansas City, and playing it in December makes it all the worse.

    Chargers lose 17-14

    16 Dec. 21 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers * 8:15 p.m.

Interesting matchup, but I think that we'll win. It's our only road primetime game of the year, and our guys tend to show up when the lights are bright. Bucs will be tough, but not tough enough.

    Chargers win 17-10

    17 Dec. 28 Denver Broncos 4:15 p.m.

At this point, the Donks are out of the playoffs and looking at a top ten pick. Cu ntler has exploded at his coaches and teammates, and is routinely skipping practices. Even though we have the playoff game locked up, we'll want the first round bye over the Patriots, the domination continues....

    Chargers win 48-0

    13-3:flag:
    First round bye:flag:
    HFA:flag:

Star of the year is the awesome Chargers defense, holding 12 teams under twenty points. LT has a very good year due to some softened defenses and Norv putting a larger share of the load on Philip's shoulders. Philip has his best year as a pro coming off of a great playoff run and finally having Norv's offense down pat. The emergence of two tight end and three wide receiver sets gives Rivers a plethora of opportunities to show his skill. Of course, there are a couple of games that could go a different way. We could lost to the Patriots and Colts, but I would be disappointed with a record under 12-4, 11-5 at worse.

I hope the Donks are still fighting for a playoff spot week 17, and then we knock them off while resting most of our starters.
