With yesterday's win the Chargers effectively finished second in the AFC West due to tiebreakers. With that in mind the schedule next year looks something like this:

    - Home and homes with AFC West opponents
    - AFC North: @BAL, @CLE, CIN and PIT at home
    - NFC South: @ATL, @CAR, TB and NO at home
    - Add: NYJ, @TEN (second place finishers in AFC East and South respectively)

    Thoughts?

Hey Hexed - maybe we should consider the Carolina game? That's pretty close for you, isn't it?

That will be a tough schedule, but depending on how this offseason goes, we will either beaten up or better because of the tough schedule and ready for the playoffs. It all depends on how things go this offseason

That schedule is not very appealing, especially considering our Chargers will prob have a new HC and GM. Rough road for a team that will be rebuilding...

The bottom two are incorrect. We are @NYJ, home vs. TEN.

Depending on when/what time it is, I'll probably go to Denver again. Loved doing that this year.

I know, I'm the minority on this but I just can't help myself. Winning starts in the mind and then you're arse will follow, it's got to be pure hate for 60 minutes, leave nothing behind burn it all.

I'm with ya. You gotta believe in yourself & want to dominate the opponent, period. If you don't have that mentality then all the talent in the world won't push you over the top.

Nope, 2nd, based on the "common opponent".

With the exception of the Browns, there's not one easy game on that schedule. But don't worry, Norv and Manusky will get us through that no worries (fail)

Call me crazy, but if we're stuck with Norv this is the kind of schedule we'd want. Either we continue the trend of actually showing up to play the good teams (and yes, there will be the clunkers - cuz there always are) and playing down to the level of poor teams - in which case we'd want as few truly poor teams on our schedule as possible... or we've just got a truly harsh schedule that will kick the crap out of us, leave us with a sub .500 record for the first time since 2003 and in the same year that AJ's contract is up.
