So at the tailgate before the titans playoff game I mentioned to TurboTurtle that it was one of my 5 favorite places. He caught me offguard by asking what the other four were. so here in no particular order are my 5 favorite places. Let's hear yours.

*Cresent Meadow, Sequoiia National Park, California.

*The Great Penssic War, Coopers Lake Campground, Pennsylvania. (Giant 2 week 20,000 person medieval gathering/party.)

*In a lounge chair with a drink in my hand, Flamingo Pool, Flamingo Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.

*Trumpet Man's Tailgate, Section F2 Qualcom Parking Lot, San Diego, California.

If you want explanations on any just ask. Let's hear yours.:icon_toast:

Any tropical beach with crystal clear warm waters...last summer I spent the day at one of the private beaches where the Corona beer commercials are filmed in the Mexican Caribbean and it was paradise....I could happily live there with that white sand, hammocks, showers, clear blue water, tropical fish swimming around, and that homemade guacamole. I didn't want to leave. I also love Hawaii and never want to leave when it's over...tropical stuff I guess. I probably would have adapted very well to being lost on Lost.

I also like Washington DC. I like the historic aspect as well as the power you can just feel going on there...I like to walk around or take the subway and see everything...I like that whole area.

Locally I like to go to Big Bear when there's a light snow...so beautiful...I like to take walks by the lake and the trees and then feel cozy with the fireplace going in the cabin...I like the summer there too. I'm going pretty soon.

I like to travel, even little short trips, and want to see as much of the world as possible in my lifetime...if I ever won the lottery I would travel everywhere.

    1) San Diego (my birthplace and my heart).
    2) Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Mexico
3)St. George Island, FL~~The Forgotten Coast in the Panhandle region. Very relaxing place.
4)Sedona, AZ~~Unbelievable sunsets! And great food!
5)Anywhere in Yosemite or the Sierra region
6)Boulder Junction, WI~~~THE most beautiful fall colors.
    7) The Oregon Coast, absolutely stunning.
    8) The City of Chicago. Way lots of energy and very diverse. Not really my style but good in small doses.
9)Southern States. Be it Alabama, Miss, Baton Rouge, Atlanta.....wonderful people and again great FOOD!
10)My home. I have been blessed with a wonderful home, filled with wonderful people. My kids, some of my relatives , really kind of say a lot about me. Carrie has met me and my "funky" family. They are weird but so am I! Soooo. maybe it's a good fit.

Or maybe a wise one ;)

I was blessed to travel all over the world growing up and during my early "adulthood"... and we were usually constantly on the go wherever we were visiting places and seeing all the country/state and surrounding areas had to offer.

BUT - the truth that was found during all the traveling was that the specific place isn't what is so great... it's the person/people that you share the time with that really makes it fun and special:yes:

Leaving to Riviera Maya on the 19th. I CANNOT wait! Junior Deluxe Suite at the Grand Sunset Princess!! My Sis cannot even get me down. I talked to her tonight. She could not shut up about kidnappings in Mexico. Why in the hell would they "whomever they are" kidnap me while I am residing at a resort? She is a spaz! This is what she told me....Steph, DO NOT leave the resort and go shopping in Playa del Carmen....there are BAD people there.
