Looks like the closest game to me this season (geographically, of course) is against the Pats on Sept. 16th so I'm getting ready to book my travel for that. Anyone else going?

I think several people are planning to make the trip to Foxburo for the game. As far as I know, myself, turbo_turtle, dublinbolt, eastcoastboltgal, & bigbrother are all planning to make the trip. I imagine there are others that I'm not aware of. For me it's about the furthest geographically, but that has never stopped me before.

I'd really like to go. Anyone know what the ticket situation is like? I know some folks in the area who might be willing to get them for me, but I'd prefer to be in the company of Bolt brothers & sisters.

I've been looking around for the best prices, and these tixs aren't going to be cheap. If you want seats expect to pay around $200 or more a ticket. SRO tickets are cheaper. If I find a deal or can work something out with a ticket broker, I'll let you know.

Thanks, Thumper. This is the closest game for me this year & I really would like to go. Do you know if it's any easier for locals to get tix? I might be able to work something out there as I have friends in Attleboro.

As far as I can tell, it's no different for local. At least through the sources I've been looking. You might ask your friends if they know anything more. You never know. Maybe they know of a way to get tixs for cheaper. :icon_shrug:

The only way locals get an away ticket is if they are season ticket holders (other than the Stubhub route).

The Monday or Tuesday before the away game, Chargers season ticket holders get a chance to obtain away tickets. They are usually the worst seats in the house and in nosebleed. Then the tickets would have to be overnighted to your house. It can be done if you are willing to pay the extra costs of overnighting tickets to your home. Let me know and I can try to arrange something because I am a season ticket holder.

Where there is a will, there is a way. :helm1:

Boston sounds like a great place to party before, after and especially during the game.

It is the Pats home opener so tix will range in the $180+ bracket (SRO cheaper).

Minnesota sounds like where most are headed.

I got the call from my father-in-law in Mansfield, MA last week; we have our two tickets at the corner of the end zone, 2nd deck, first row. We sat there for the Pats / Bolts game last time and it was great! E-mail me at muttonchop@earthlink.net if you want to get together beforehand.

My friend has a friend that deals with tickets. He moved his company back to L.A. Here is his website

    www.sdtix.com.

It redirects you to captain tickets, or something like that. He will have Pats/Chargers tickets. SRO go for 125.00. This looks to be a good site to get them knowing it is based in Los Angeles. I think I might just get my ticks here for the Minnesota game.

I'd rather pay $$$$$ for a seat than be in a standing room only section. That's for the young, drunk, kids, IMNSHO. :icon_mrgreen:

I'm gonna see my Massachussets contact today at my nephew's graduation cookout & ask him if he has any ticket connections. I'd really rather sit, too. Stood up at way too many Grateful Dead shows!!
