He hasn't played up to his usual stuff, he's publicly fueding with AJ, we have gapping holes, he's kinda on the way out anyways, and I could see a team taking a gamble on him.

Especially with the Jets giving up so much for braylon edwards...

    Am I crazy?

You'll get nothing for him unless we start seeing "Lights Out" again.

Braylon Edwards got a lot, and he hasn't produced and is about to get suspended for beating up a club owner.

Braylon isn't injured, there's still a big ? over Merriman. Sure someone may trade for him but we won't get anywhere near equal value for him. I'd rather hang onto him for the rest of the season. Odds are there won't be a new CBA so then we could tag him with the RFA tender and at worse get a 1st and 3rd for him (if anyone tried signing him) which would be pretty good value.

I don't understand how one comment is a public feud.

the two of them don't like each other on a personal level but seem to do ok on a business level

and there's no chance he's traded because he won't get anything back in return. its more likely to trade cromartie

    Disagree.

Merriman is out of here. The Tila Tequila ordeal was just icing on the cake showing how far one of this team leaders is willing to "play" prior to the season. Enough is enough. Merriman got his one year paid vacation when Rivers, Gates and Jamal had their **** tightened up under the scalpel. It appears Merriman is still on vacation. Adios. :bolt:

If that's the case..... AJ need's to go!

If AJ is going to let shiat like this bother him, he's too "thin skinned" to be a GM in the NFL.

Lights needs to get the knee healed, first. Then he'll be back!

    A.J. thin skinned?

Dude wanted to tell LT to fck off this year until Dean Spanos stepped in to undermine A.J.'s master plan to acquire BEEF with LT's saved jack. A.J knew the fans would be pissed (LT leaving) AND had no choice when Dean-o started swinging his meat and checkbook.

    PS ... A.J. SMITH IS GOD !!!!!

Sorry to inform you but trading away Merriman would get you **** in return. He is damage goods, and has shown no sign of becoming his former self.

Someone would be willing to give up a 4th and a marginal player at best.

Trading Cromartie isn't gonna happen IMO because Cromartie can be used in many different areas. Return game, DB, missed field goals, I wouldn't be surprised if they bring him in on offense a time or two before this season is over.

Dline help is not the only thing we need and trading away stars to get a rent a player IMO is giving up on the season.
