Last night, I watched one of the most amazing comeback finishes to any sport or game I had ever seen! The men's 4x100 free relay was decided by .08 seconds!

That was one hell of a race. No way France should have lost that lead.

And...youtube has removed the video. It's stupid that we can watch the olympics free on tv but not on our computers.

    Hiya Powder! Missed ya Saturday!

    Thanks for finding the link.

I was at my sister's house, watching LIVE. Her hubby was in the back room watching on another TV. We were screaming like crazy. Not as much as Michael Phelps, natch. That was such a blast to watch. Evertime they showed Phelps going apeshit, we started giggling. He was so over the top.

    What a great feeling.:icon_banana: :flag:

Although even Rowdy Yates didn't give the US a chance, and he kept doubting until Lezak started sneaking up on the French swimmer.

I think its Rowdy Gaines, former awesome swimmer in the 1980s, including the Olympics.

You are right about him doubting even through the finish. He kept yelling,"I dont believe it! I dont beleive it!" He sounded like he went out of his mind.:icon_eek:

Athlete's never learn to just keep quiet especially before the match. If the mens basketball team loses you can blame Dwayne Wade for pretty much guaranteeing a gold. I heard that he is already planning a US tour to show it off when they get back.

France lost that race because of the final swimmer (the one who made the comments) he came out too quick, probably trying to blow us out but it backfired because he ran out of gas in the end.

Plus Lezak swam a superb 100 to make up the difference.

    Great race. :flag:

I've got it saved on my computer, and I've seen it a billion times. Great race. I've really enjoyed watching the Olympics this year.
