...T.O. to Raiders? Personally, I'd hate for a trade like this to happen. Not that a self-centered piece of crap like T.O. doesn't deserve the same fate dealt to Randy Moss but it would help out the Cowboys, a team I deeply despise. The new rules don't allow you to wait for that June cut-off before you release someone without taking the big cap hit. The release must come within about two weeks, otherwise the Cowboys take the cap hit. If no one trades for him, the Cowboys would probably just release him. Senile Al has probably learned nothing from his numerous past mistakes. If this turd is traded to the Turds, you can pretty much rest assured he'd pout, piss, moan and play with the same intensity that Moss and the rest of the malcontents who wind up in Oakland do.

idk why this would be done by the Raiders, if anything (and they wanted something of a malcontent WR with talent) they should get Chad Johnson or someone who has more ability

Live chat: Inside the Raiders, Tuesday, Feb. 10

I read today that several national journalists feel that T.O. will be out of Dallas and Oakland would be a good spot, perhaps only costing a 3rd round pick. Do you see this as a possibility?

1:02 Steve Corkran: Of course it's a possibility. Terrell Owens has Raider written all over him, and Al Davis is the kind of owner who would allow Owens to be the person he is as long as he produces in games.

JaMarkus wears fat clothes. Do you like the purple fur coat with the diamonds or the white fur with the beaver skin man purse?

1:07 Steve Corkran: Man, that's hitting low. Funny thing, though, no one will care what he wears if he develops into the type of player the Raiders envisioned when they selected him No. 1 in 2007.

Steve, Michael Vick (as backup) & Pacman Jones will be Raiders in 2009. true or false?

1:09 Steve Corkran: No way on Adam Jones -- sorry, I refuse to refer to him by a video game character. As for Michael Vick, that's something that will tempt Al Davis more than people might imagine. Remember, coach Tom Cable has a history with Vick as well, and it's not all bad. Don't discount the possibility of Vick wearing a Raiders jersey one day, if not next season.

The Raiders are facing some tough cap issues, will this lead to some cuts this week ?

1:11 Steve Corkran: If not this week, then likely before veteran free agency kicks off Feb. 27. Names to watch include but aren't limited to: Ronald Curry, Kwame Harris, Terdell Sands, Cornell Green and Javon Walker.

    1:21 [Comment From Robby]
How do you think Tommy Kelly faired during the 2009 season?

1:23 Steve Corkran: Not very well based upon the huge contract he received during the offseason. He arrived in training camp overweight -- he was given a pass because he was recovering from knee surgery -- out of shape and well behind his teammates. For the kind of money he received, the Raiders are counting upon him to be a dominant player and a disruptive force. He was outplayed by fellow starter Gerard Warren in most games.

Steve, do you have any sense as to whether Al and the coaches have interest in TJ Housh. ?

1:35 Steve Corkran: Sure do. He is big, has sure hands, is a team player and still has plenty of mileage left on tires. He is the perfect kind of possession receiver that every great offense possesses.

I was kinda fond of Terdell Sands as a real backup NT but punching teammates won't fly. Unless he can be brought to heel - dude ate up Hardwick and Goff in the first game

Is there any reason to think that T.O. on the Raiders would work out any more favorably than Randy Moss did with the Raiders?

Owens is a divisive guy, and I'd personally love to see Big Al give up some draft picks and occupy significant cap space bringing in another player who'll undermine the 'team' atmosphere.

    Do it, Al!
