KFFL - San Diego Chargers News and Notes

The San Diego Chargers likely will sign practice squad WR Seyi Ajirotutu to their active roster before their Week 7 game, according to Kevin Acee, of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

I've been backing this kid ever since before the draft. This is a great sign. I think he will turn into another UDFA Golden Nugget of AJs

Hopefully without the injuries. Dude has skills, hands and size. Just might be another AJ gem....

When the kid gets to play, I just want to hear the announcers try to pronounce his name correctly...

Good for Seyi. Lookin to see another performance like Demario Alexander had on us comming all the way up off the PS.

Deirdorf and Scumball took the primetime game in the preseason vs NO to jus flagrantly show off how they had practiced the phonetics Ajir-ah-tutu.

Dont think too many will trip on it not like its the HARDEST name to say/spell.

It is if the announcer is trying to say it during a play in an exicited rush...

It's kind of cool, yes. But not a great sign at all... It's a sign that we're desperately thin at WR.

San Diego Chargers | Injury Report

    Players of note:

    Floyd - Out
    Mathews - Probable
    Gates - Doubtfull
    Naanee - Doubtfull

    Davis - Probable
    Siler - Probable

Not happy about this. Not having Gates will be huge.

The Pats secondary is not very good right now and I would like to think Norv will go spread O... quick huddle from the outset. But he'll probably try to smash Mathews for a while before he flips it back to the pass.

    I hope it works.

Spread.quick.huddle would get the newbies into the mix right away and establish a nice tempo.

Hey, we have Rivers! Its the front 7 im worried about. They are weak and Brady will carve the defense up with no pass rush.

Will probably go nickel package and Rivera will have to dial up enough creative corner blitzes to get there.

    Oh yeah, that's right.

    Crayton 1, Davis 2, Tutu 3

    McMichael TE

    Ouch.

On second thought maybe we go 22 personnel and run it up their a.ss first.

    haha

    Now THERE'S some good news.........NOT.

This season just keeps getting worse by the week. I don't even want to think about what else can go wrong, because we're snake-bit and if anything can go wrong, it will. Crap.

Ok slightly better.....CBS rapid reports, YahooSports, NFL.com injury report, and John Clayton from ESPN all say Gates listed as QUESTIONABLE.

Not sure why Chargers.com is the only one that has him as doubtfull.

This kid can play I think.

Look Brandon Lloyd has come out of nowhere in Denver and is well on his way to a 1500 yards season. One of these young guys just has to step up.

It would really help if we could get our screens working a little bit more effectively.

These asssclowns are going to screw up my fantasy team. I am waiting to insert my TE (that's what she said) Gates or McMich.

I don't think the kid will let us down, provided he is given the opportunity.

I hope Tutu gets a legit shot to do something Sunday. Nothing could be better for his carrer than getting some chemistry with Philip Rivers.

He and Crayton should be #1-#2 out there, I liked what I saw from him immensely and this is his opportunity against a group of DBs that are not very good

Richard Goodman might also get some playing time. We have 4 receivers at max. Crayton, Tutu, an injured Buster, and Goodman.
