Wow, this is unbelievable. Hope they learn soon and not when something "fatal" occurs.

    Cletis Inactive Gordon.

Not very smart of a guy that fought to win a roster spot.

Look for him to be gone next season if not in the near future.

They asked Marty about this during the press conference and he said he believe they pulled him over for DUI, but when he was tested, he was below the limit. He wasn't sure, but that's what he thought the situation was.

So far, all the reports I've read say that he was pulled over on SUSPISCION. Nothing clearcut as to whether he was charged. If that's the case, I will pull back on my previous statement, until further review. :)

Chargers | Police and courts update: Gordon
    Mon, 27 Nov 2006 18:36:53 -0800

Updating a previous report, the Associated Press reports San Diego Chargers CB Cletis Gordon was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Monday, Nov. 27. He is the sixth Chargers player to have a run-in with the law since April. San Diego police took Gordon into custody in downtown's Gaslamp Quarter about 2:15 a.m. His car was impounded and he was released on his own recognizance later in the morning, according to a jail clerk. Head coach Marty Schottenheimer said, "I think we need to wait until all the facts are brought out. He was brought in. My understanding is he did the test and it was below the number. I don't know. We'll have to wait and see."
