He's been inactive all year even though he's on the roster. Just IR him already and be done with it

Does he get paid in full if he goes on IR? If he doesn't, maybe it's a gentleman's agreement that he stay off IR but isn't activated for games?

    Why would you IR him?

He's not severely hurt. He's learning the game in the pros while continuing to recover from his knee injury similar to Cro last year (although cro got to see the field as a rookie). Also, not everyone on the 53 man roster is active for every game. I believe if he is IR'd he can't practice with the team.

I don't understand the logic of signing a guy off the practice squad when we have a third round guy already on the roster.

If he can't play then put him on IR and add someone who's healthy

hey Walt, here's what I got from CaseyBolts at Chargers:

"What I can tell you is that this coaching staff fully expected that they'd have to be extremely patient with him. They're continuing to be so.

He got a lot of extra work last week and I think they'd like to get him on the field this second half of the season. They still believe he's got the stuff to be a good one, but with Siler playing so well on special teams right now, numbers just haven't let him dress yet."

can't wait to see Raging Waters on the field...

You know, the guy that Concudan arse clown said would prove to be the steal of the draft.

He will probably say now, he didnt say which season...

They won't play him on special teams until they know he's all the way back. Our problems are less personnel than coaching. All this talk about aggressiveness being maintained and new wrinkles here and there was just that. Talk. All this "If it works don't fix it" stuff we heard appears to have been crappola. They fixed us all right. Even at that, we be in far better shape if there was some discipline on this team. My primary oversight was in not seeing this before, but hindsight it always much easier.
