I would do it. I even suggested it before the season started.

Not a terrible idea, but I have to give it a

We're already overloaded with physically gifted but raw talent at WR. Cro has spent his professional career stayin close to guys rather than looking for separation.

Cro would have had 14 steps on Ian Gold on the VJ catch which had maybe one or two steps and would have been gone - given he catches it.

Cro would then have to learn the offensive AND defensive playbook which may be information overload.

Once they have my endorsement, it is better than a "leisure lock" and you should know better by now. :icon_evil:

He can't catch so I give it a

I like the outside the box thinking, though.

He would only have to learn one or two formations and that is it. He is used as a decoy or open/downfield nightmare routes.

Craig Buster "Hymen" Davis is fast. That dude has wheels but his bum ankle has made him ineffective. VJ is not the burner I thought he was and whoever said he has sub 4.4 speed is full of shiit.

Cro doesn't strike me as the learning type.

One step at a time. Lets give him something we are sure he can handle, like kickoff returns.

Darren "Spores" is just a bit too puny to take those licks on the kickoffs all season long. His jukiness is fine for punts but I think the short stride and the big collisions on kickoff returns work against him.

Cro's afterburners are ideal for breaking the seams on kickoff returns.

I'd rather he just play decent at corner and kick flo out of the organization.

It ain't a real good idea at the moment, and that's for sure...that's for dang sure. He is still learning the corner as a younger than normal year two pro and trying him at wide receiver would retard his development in both positions. He would be dynamite as a returner and he might be able to master a route or three once he learns the DB position thoroughly. I think Marty entertained the idea of making him a wideout when he was drafted, but that idea was quickly canned.

Let's just let him concentrate on CB for now. It's not like we don't need help there!!

    Yeah...

    1. Learn the CB position. He is a long way away from being the CB we hoped he would be.

    2. Learn to catch the ball. His hands are almost as bad as Jammer's.

    3. If he can do 1 and 2, then forget about ever playing offense.

If he cannot do 1 and 2, try him on KR, if he fails there he is a bust.

I agree about Oliver, he will be a better DB than Flo and Cro IMHO.
