Any interest in Ahmad Bradshaw if he could be had at a reasonable price?

Games 3 through 7 when Matthews is nursing a hamstring as well as games 11 through 16 when he's on IR.

draft a RB somewhere in the 4-7 range. Problem solved.

Five whole games for Mathews....... that's a tad optimistic, don't you think?

I think five whole games is about right. He DID run out of clavicles to break.
Wait, that only leaves about 204 other possible bones....nevermind.

We all know about the team's cap woes, so unless Bradshaw is willing to settle on a smaller payday, I don't think he lands here. FYI, the deal he signed in NY last year was a 4 year contract worth $18 million, half of which was guaranteed.

If his pricetag is reasonable, I wouldn't mind seeing him line up as 1b. Cut down both his and Matthews' carries and hopefully they could both last a whole season (wishful thinking).

We did that last year and he is on the team, how did that work out?
Not saying Rock Baker won't be something but he got no shot from Norv (I refuse to play young guys) Turner.

So you question the wisdom of doing something, by referencing the unwillingness of a moron to do it?

We don't need an expensive RB. We need more production from our TEs and an Oline that can both run and pass block. With those factors, my 1 year old daughter could run for a 5 ypc average.

No disrespect bro, but the title does state "if he could be had at a reasonable price".

We need a productive run game, ours last year was almost non-existent, granted we do have bigger needs such as O-line, but that doesn't mean we don't need a better #2 RB.

Bradshaw has 0 upside, and a pricetag that will not be "reasonable" for a number 2 RB. Meanwhile, we could spend a 4th rounder this year, and probably get a quality RB for pennies on Bradshaw's dollar, who might actually be capable of staying off of IR.

No.. just saying we've picked that RB already. Shouldn't we let the new regime give him a chance?, the chance that 'the moron' didn't give him. And so not spend another pick on a RB.

What about a RB that can pick up the blitz? Do you want a rookie or Mathews trying to do this? If we do draft late then we better make sure that they are capable of doing this.

As previously pointed out by LBC, there are ~9-10 RBs in this class who are 3-down backs.

Well Stephan Taylor is one, if he drops to the 4th round we better take. He can run inside and bounce outside, and pass protects very well.

But, if were not taking a running back in the first 4 rounds, we better sign one.
