This is the first time in a while that I've felt like this could feasibly be an area of strength with our depth going into the year. If you compare with our playoff game against the Jets, we won't just be getting big Jamal back.....but also Bingham and OG to add to the mix with Travis Johnson, Cesaire, Castillo, and Ian Scott....Even Alphonso Boone is a decent role player if he sticks around. We'll have some interesting decisions.

I thought we had a decent find last year in Nwagbuo...and Rivera did a nice job of rotating....Unlike previous years in his career, we'll likely be able to do a much better job of spelling Jamal and whatever he brings to the table will be a plus anyway. I think Castillo is probably better served as a rotational guy also.

I think we'll be able to rotate 3 or 4 NG's with Jamal handling most of the snaps and mix in OG , Vaughn Martin and Scott. Our DE's get stronger with Bingham coming back to rotate with Castillo, Cesaire and Johnson. We can go big or smaller and keep guys fresh across the line.

D-Line is not really the huge draft priority it's been in year's past IMO.

Cody gained weight. Looks like his weight is going to be an ongoing problem.

    He is a beast.

Jamal isn't exactly rocking 6 pack abs either.

Cody was quite the mountain at weigh-in. The Bengals gambled on Andre Smith and he hasn't done **** so far. Hearing the same grumblings about Cody is making think twice.

Martin is no midget and the dude can ice skate. Now that he has a year under his belt and game action, he may take root and blossom into one heck of a player.

Travis Johnson being close to home and if he can heal up will be a big addition himself. A former #1 pick with experience that held his own even with his groin problem.

I've been happy with what I have seen from these dude's since about mid-season, and believe D-line will be a strong point going into next year.

Cody is lazy and undisciplined. He will get a fat check and eat himself to death. Pass.

Based on what I'm seeing and hearing I'm rapidly losing interest in Cody. He could fall very far very fast. Though if he ends up far down on the boards I could see taking a later round flyer on him.

We need that space eater but he shouldn't just take up space.

I agree, with Jamal comming back (even if he's no longer the all-pro Jamal), OG and a more mature Martin we might have something there

But it wouldn't hurt to bring in another 2nd-3rd round NT

first round best player available between NT, RB and OT

I think the D-line shoulb be alright if OG rounds back into shape, and Martin continues to develop.

Plus the addition of Bingham, and we shouldn't be too bad.

Bullish? Not quite there, but Calfish perhaps. The young guys did a pretty decent job I must say. An area that looked disasterous in week 5 held tough most of the year.

Add another body from the 3rd round or up on that side of the ball and I think we will be in pretty decent shape.

    Lol...

I don't think its a bad idea to go for a D-Lineman, there is no guarantee that Jamal will be as dominant as always and it would be a good idea to get somebody to learn from Jamal. Dude won't be around forever. A guy opposite Castillo would be good too.

O-Line could use a better run-blocker on the right side of the line.

And we definitely need a new RB. I hope we keep Sproles but LT is most likely gone, which means we need somebody new to take up the majority of the rushing load / trade-off with Sproles. CJ Spiller would be nice but he'll most likely be gone by our pick @ 28 (unless AJ wants to trade up which is unlikely). Ryan Matthews or Jonathan Dwyer look good and would probably be around where we pick.

Cam Thomas is gaining attention as an NT--he was originally mocked as an R7 pick and has been on my radar for about a month, but the latest CBS draft board has him as an R4-5 pick.

He is big, mean, and agile.
