Don't forget to pick up some ear muffs, a thick wool stocking hat, a down filled knee length parka with a hood, a heavy wool scarf and maybe a pullover face mask, a pair of heavy winter gloves, a wool shirt, thick sweater, a pair of cotton socks covered by a pair of wool socks and insulated boots, and a blanket. (long underwear will cause problems when you have to go to the john...especially problematic if you decide to drink beer at the game).

8 degrees on a January night in Foxboro isn't like 70 degrees on a Sunday afternoon in San Diego or in a Dome in Indianapolis.

Give my best to Freddy....he sells clam chowder at the Razor.

I booked my flight yesterday with Jet Blue for $460.00. Ticketmaster is selling tickets tomorrow at 9am (Eastern). If we can't them them through there, I'll be on Stub Hub on Wednesday.

All the fans that are going stay very warm and you will see that the Boston people are very nice and courteous.

The fans of the Patriots on the other hand will be a little hostile because the Chargers will be in their territory. That is to be expected any where though.

It will be enjoyable to everyone who is going because I went there for our second game of the season and it was in my opinion a blast. After the game though it was a sad trip back to San Diego.

Have fun you all and cheer all you can for the Bolts to win and become the AFC Champs hopefully.

Those seats aren't bad, actually. It will feel like you're walking up forever but don't let that get you down.

Once you're up there it's like watching the game from the wide shot on television. It actually lets you watch the play develop.

Have fun, don't let the yahoos get to you.

Here is the real question...Where is the "Official" Chargers party???? Aer Travel has one, I have already inquired about tickets...What is the other travel agency mentioned on 1090???

Well they are the 2nd row in the upper sidelienes seats which did not look bad at all. People who went to the Pats game in the beggining of the year, are these seats like the lower view seats?

    sec329/ row 9

My season tix are 2nd to the last row at the Q and I hate them but they are on the 50.

You are a season ticket holder, why couldn't you get tickets through the Chargers? I thought we could but can't figure it out!!! :icon_sad:

Season ticket holders go on a waiting list and don't find out if they can get tickets until 2-3 days before the game. With a playoff game that would be next to impossible. Super Bowl tickets are a little different, each team gets a percentage in which the Chargers have a lottery (I have never been drawn).

Yep, lower bowl, but there really aren't any bad seats in that stadium.

Good luck! The Pats sell out the season in less than 10 minutes. I've never been able to get tickets thru them. Hopefully, there's a good SD representation. It always makes it fun.

Thanks for the heads up. My buddy is stationed near Boston and is going to attempt to get some seats. With the prices on stub hub, we were hoping to spend the same amount on club seats through ticketmaster...like I said, just HOPE.

Chargers season ticket holders should be contacting the main office today if you want face value tickets for an away game. The Monday or Tuesday before the game, the Chargers get their allotment for the away season ticket holders and then whoever after that who wants them.

Thumper, Turbo Turtle and I were in 327 in September. I remember the long walk to the seats but like BeerGuy said even though we were v high up, we had a perfect view of the game.

A flight to Boston this weekend is costing me 500 Euro (750$$ approx). If I could get a ticket at a reasonable price I'd consider going again!. I've emailed that crowd Aer Travel in SD to see what sort of deal they may have.
