Peyton Manning on if Chargers are "hot" team in Sunday's matchup: "I'm not sure I understand what that really means. What does 'hot' mean?"

In two games against the Broncos, the Chargers offense has held the ball for 76:52 minutes -- an average of 38-plus minutes per game.

A team that won five in a row, four to get into the playoffs and, oh yeah, you were on the list

Peyton has always been reluctant to give any other team credit. Earlier this week he said that the Broncos were flat in the last game against the Chargers because they were looking forward to the extra time off after the Thursday nighter. Peyton is a petulant little **** (wonder where he gets that from Archie), and I'd love to stuff another playoff loss down his whiny little piehole.

During Daren Smith's show they played the audio, and the interviewer (don't remember who it was) answered "Never mind", then (probably) Canepa said "I'm hot", kinda funny

When trying to instruct someone, largely regardless of the topic at hand, I've found that if someone
just seems to be a brick wall, re. understanding a particular concept, it sometimes works to explain
what the concept or movement is not.

In this case, one could try: "Well, Payton, remember that time you visited Qualcomm Stadium
in Nov. 2007, and threw 6 interceptions? That would kind of be the opposite of 'hot.'
