is fricken norval smarter than all of us?
i swear this guy has been sett'in **** up all year. it seems as though we get more and more complex with our approach yet out of the same vanilla formations with each game.
this guy seems like he's been sett'in **** up all year for a 19 or 20 game season. with his runn'in it up the gut all year...
i've not been a believer (hater at times) and it's not over i know, but i think norval is think'in so many steps down the road during the season that he looks stupid to us a lot of the time.
i think his method hasn't had a good enough team to execute this approach since the cowgirls of the '90s. i mean pound the rock, don't get too fancy during the year as not show too much, then when it counts get all cutesy at the right time.
it's definetly an all or noth'in approach, i mean if your team can't survive sett'in everything up, i.e. get to the playoffs, what's the point, you sit at home in january gett'in drunk tell'in your dog about all your fancy plays.
yeah i know its all feel good right now, but i tell ya i think the guy is way ahead of what we give him credit for.
i can't beleive it but i think i'm on the koolaid.
was he wear'in dark aviator shades with a microphone in his hand last game or what?

We will find out come January, but I have been wondering for the last several weeks: Was AJ right all along? It is certainly starting to look favorable.

I am not willing to admit it yet, but I am starting to feel like an idiot for ever doubting the mans decisions.

I think a lot of us are looking at BFISA and wondering how much crow we will have to eat...

Harley... are you trying to start a Norv-a-lution? Hell... Even I'm starting to have a taste o' the Kool Aid that Norval is mixin' up. :icon_party: All I know is, he now has this team in position to win a playoff game. If he does that, not only will AJ be vindicated, but Norv will also surpass his predecessor's success with this team and get that friggin' MartyMonkey off his back.

(BTW - give me a ring and let me know where you're gonna be x-mas eve. Possibly watch some of the game and pound a few) :icon_toast:

I don't think that it would take the FBI or CIA to run a quick search and find posts where he was calling for Norv/Ted to be fired. I remember them distinctly.

    Nobody is innocent here.

After we nail the first playoff win, do not wait to grab what is left of the dudes jock strap.

I think we are in for a ride.

I wonder if Chambers has ever thrown a WR pass? :)

I may not be guzzling kool-aid but...Norv hasn't given me any reason to piss and whine. I sort of realized at some point earlier that if our players execute, we can call whatever plays we want.

When Norv wins a playoff game, he will have accomplished more than Marty ever did here.

And AJ, more than ever, will be gawd.

FWIW Toby, I am the King of flip flopping, so no harm no foul from where I sit. You were definitely in the guys corner more than anyone on this forum other than Norvfan#1.

There should be only 31 picks in the first round, NE having forfeited it's pick.

For diehardfans it's impossible to stay cool during such a see saw season like the Bolts showin' this year. Was it vanilla coaching,
bad playcalling or wrong execution to get us that miserable 1-3 start with KC and Minn. loses ? Or was it the strengh of the opponents Only KC isn't going to the playoffs.
But don't be happy to early. The end of the season comes around the corner there is fighting for Nr.3 seed. One homegame to win
and then a hard roadgame plus next two levels.
What's counting is the final product (over old fat Kansellor Kohl said) we'll hopefully see....
