    Balls --
Vincent Jackson: 10 for 172 and 2 scores. Best player on the field in white.
Ryan Matthews: Showed flashes of what can be

    Birds --
Rivers: Sorry but I can't overlook 3 turnovers, 2 in Pats territory.
Goal Line Offense: Why, when you have a 6'5" QB, do you take the ball off the line on 4th and one foot?!

We let this one get away. Lines are open.

I cant argue with you on that.

    Birds; let me humbly add:
Tolbert - Horrible, tentative running. Putting the ball on the ground when you decide to run backwards. Typically you are a benefit, today you were hesitant and looked bewildered.

Defense - I love defensive football. Todays offering simply sucked eggs hard.

Is it suprising? Same ole same ole. We did this last week but had the benefit of facing a horrible team in the Vikings.

    Things I learned.

Norv does horrible against Great Teams and it's September.

    Same ole Same ole.

Bird: Norv. If you would play to win and not to not loose we could beat the pats. Belichump is to aggressive to play the way norv does. We need to be aggressive on offense and defense and we'd have a chance despite the turnovers.

Big Bird to Norv and the whole coaching staff. The defense, and Rivers forcing the ball.
Ball: Jackson. That the only guy that deserves it.

The turnovers are the problem...you can't discount that. How many turnovers came from NE? None....why? They are a disciplined team that is schooled well and required to perform...or they're gone...that's coaching and player choice...the Pats are good at both. Having an owner like Bob Kraft is a major plus for that organization. There are big rewards for hard work and success...Kraft reinforces that...Kraft's very being is a significant positive force for everyone on that team...it starts at the top.

I agree with Tolbert. He was tentative on the goal line and the play where he fumbled was inexcusable.

I thought Jammer and Shaun Phillips played their azzes off today. Those guys do not get the credit they deserve.
Jackson was a beast, as was Ryan Mathews. The haters need to STFU about Mathews he had an awesome game.

Birds: Turnovers so I'm looking at you, Rivers & Tolbert
Manusky: No QB pressure, couldn't stop Brady even with dropping everyone into coverage
Fans who put this on Norv: If he kicked the FG on 4th & inches, he's a pussy. He goes for it & we're stopped, he's a hack. He didn't commit the drive-killing TO's.

Balls: Pass blocking Rivers stayed mostly clean
    VJ: Really stepped up today
Garay: Entirely different looking front 7 when he's in the game

I hate this loss too, but guess what? I'll bet a majority of you had this game pegged as a loss in your pre-season prognostications. Climb off the ledges & get ready to clobber KC.

    Balls
Mathews- showed what he can do in the running game
Jackson- Took advantage of the patriots covering gates all game

    Birds
Tolbert- looked hesistant and had a costly fumble
Defense- I know you're facing Brady but with the cushion that our DB's were giving the NE recievers- i could have thrown for 400yds
Playcalling- Why on 4th and inches would you toss it out to tolbert- mathews should have been used for that play- could have got 7 points

Balls - VJ (incredible game) Matthews (some great runs and catches) Specail teams (no kick or punt returns . WOOHOO)

Birds - Redzone offense AGAIN. That play on 4th & 1..going sideways, Tolbert having to jump over Hester...just a bad bad play allround and big momentum shift. Tolberts fumble...why didnt he just run straight through the hole??
I cant give PR a bird despite his interceptions. Along with VJ he kept us in it, the whole juggernaut just kept stalling inside the Patriots 30 each time.

Balls - VJ and Marcus McNeill. Big Mc is v quietly being the blind side protector extraordinaire.

Birds - Manusky, Weddle, O play-calling, the turnovers.

I'm not gona hate on Tolbert. He made 1 huge mistake when he stopped and tried to run around the pile instead of ploughing straight ahead = fumble. Other than that the guy is a stud for me. On the 4th and 1 he had to avoid Hesters leg to have any chance of changing up and bulldozing into the EZ.

What's with the play call having Hester out wide and then having him scurry back in to block for a running play. If I'm a DC I know Hester is no threat split wide as a WR as he (1) will always scurry back to behind the LoS and (2) he is too slow to be a force as a WR/split end type. I hate that formation change!.
