Come in to my office......lay down on the couch....have a beer.

Tell me, how did this win over the Patriot's make you feel?

    Better question:

When it was 30-3, how did you feel? :icon_toast:

That's a really good question. Confused I guess. When your team is bi-polar it's hard to know how to feel.

Big J stepped up. Cotrell dialed up the pass rush. The LBs rose to the occasion.

Norv finally stretched the field, which he totally forgot to do against Miami.

But as long as the Chargers don't have a run game, those red zone field goals are going to continue to haunt us.

Ultimately, it's yet another wait-until-next-week proposition.

It felt damn good! It's probably the only game I'll be able to make all season, so I'm glad it was a win! It being a win over the Patsies was just icing on the cake!

First and foremost, definately relieved to be @ .500 again.

Also, confused, because I don't know which Chargers team is the TRUE Chargers team. The team that beat down NY and NE, the one that choked against DEN and CAR, the one that barely beat OAK, or the one that got owned by Miami all over the field.

Hey, I'm asking the questions here......

I'm also in denial, so I have no idea what you're talking about. I'd need some pretty intense hypnosis for that question to even begin to register.

I'm obviously thrilled with the win, as it was sorely needed. But I'll admit it would have felt a whole lot better had Brady been the QB.

It makes me feel like we just beat the 49ers.

It always feels good to win... but we should have won this game. So it's not really anything special.

    Or not.

We'll never know if Tom would have made a difference. I know it would have been a better game(from my point of view, and a ratings perspective), but that's all I can say with a degree of certainty.

A big relief but I don't understand how that Miami game could be real. The whole week I'll feel fine, but Buffalo Bills have a free week .. soo Ted be prepared and Rivers do your job.

Always feels good to get a win.

But over a mediocre team like this year's Patriots... eh. Just nice to get a win.

Beat the Bills next week and I'll start believing this team is over the hump. :bolt:

Good to see u back the day after BeerGuy!. That sure sounds to me like a compliment to the Chargers there....?. Looks like quite a few of our players showed up at long last, I'm looking at you O line and you Defense.

Overall all though I thought the cover teams on Special teams were unreal.

I guess some Pats fans might feel like we did that cold September night 07 in Foxboro.

The world found out that the Pat's are Brady, it wouldn't have mattered but without him they were embarrassed.

It's to bad a team has to rely on just one player like Brady, They are toast and will never be the same.

Brady will be back, and the Pats will be fine for 09.

My suggestion is that the Chargers try to win their Superbowl this year. Next year might go through New England....

Actually this isn't true. We made one long pass to chambers I think, and he over threw Jackson once, I think there was another in there that was broken up. We just didn't execute in Miami.

Don't be shaky, they are still a big contender in the AFCE
Don't want to play in any of those towns in January.

I didn't mean that they didn't go deep at all.

One or both of the attempts were late in the game when the Miami was holding a good lead and the defense was playing the deep pass. The difference being...

When it's a part of the sheme: "Hey, we're going deep against these jokers to set the tempo early."

When it's late in the game and your behind: "Hey. What about if we tried going long once or twice. That might work. Nothing else has."

Yeah, it's like the team is bipolar or something. We just never know on any given Sunday which team is going to come out to play: the team that opened a can of Whoop *** all over the Patsies and the Jets, or the shivering mass of insecurities that was practically pissing down its leg in Miami. I've gotta say, I'd appreciate seeing more of the team that played Sunday night...........
