Chambers, Jackson, Davis, and Naanee should make one Hell of a receiving team BUT, insurance IS needed for the Super Bowl run!!

Who would provide the best insurance?

Osgood because he is damn special on ST's....

Do we keep 6 WR's? We made our run without the other two last year. Don't fix what isn't broken.

The battle comes down to Parker, Floyd and Osgood unless there is a trade. The team has to decide if someone is as good as Kassim on special teams, since that is his prime roster spot. If he can be replaced on ST's then Kassim is gone, especially if Floyd can do the job. If Parker gets traded then no one else should get trimmed.

Floyd is the best solution. The kid has skills, and is one of the major reasos we left Cincy in '06 with a W and not an L.

That said, him disapearing, and rumors of his being in Norv's dog house do not bode well for him, when the Turk commeth...

I like Floyd but why didn't we see him last season?
Especially with Parker out for the season... it didn't make any sense to me.

I think he forwarded all of your Norv posts to Coach Turner last season and got his peepee sapped for it!

Floyd. He's a monster blocker, almost as good as VJ.

Even if he doesn't get any catches, having him out there as a big blocking WR would be good.

Its a shame to see all of you against Parker now since his injury. Before that all of you guys were sucking his dick before that **** game he had. Now all of you guys look like some fagets who hate on him because of that one bad game. For reals, admit you guys use to warship him before that game. All of you!

I saw him on the field several times last season.

    Example:

The 41-3 drubbing of the Donks in Denver.

On Michael Turner's long TD run, Floyd was one of the two WR blockers at the end that prevented the Donks' last two defenders from touching Turner. VJ was the other blocker.

I'm sure there were some times but very little.
It especially would have helped to have him on the field before we picked up Chambers.

I'm sure Floyd's development was one of the reasons Lofton was let go.

Norv took a look at Floyd, and said "He's been here for two full seasons now and hasn't fully learned everything? Neither have VJ nor Osgood. What's Lofton been doing all this time?"

Good take, Sluggo. I'll reserve my opinion until we see a bit of TC. As of right now, given past receiving history, I'd stick with EP.

I've always like Parker and have defended him for the NE game. But I understand that there's no longer a place for him on this team. We have too many other talented players.

floyd can catch, he hustles big time, he doesnt have that attitude of a bench player, he does whats asked of him; on TOP of that, hes an asset to the running game big time, he can block, the kid is hella strong, if youve ever seen him in person, hes pretty ripped lol. anyhow, he can block, i say floyd, HANDS DOWN.

    Norv played him last season.

I think the question is "Will Norv have Floyd in such that Rivers throws him passes?"

OK. Let me rephrase that... "Will Norv let him do more than block for a play or two?" :icon_shrug:

Hanestly, between Parker and Floyd I would hold on to Floyd.

In his limited time on the field he has shown flashes of being the deep threat that Parker never has been. Buster will become the slot guy, Naanee is the utliity guy and Floyd will be the fourth/fifth receiver.

Don't forget that they also picked up Mark Jones. most of us have no idea where he will fit in...

He's waiting until Parker actually gets evicted from the Big Brother household. :icon_tease:
